Speaking of an Avensis T25 1.8 up to 2005, how serious is that issue? Can I just refill oil and increase the oil volume (+0,5l ) or does that problem lead to complete damage?
doing a 04+ Corolla 1zz engine swap in my 01 Celica everything is the same besidez the 1 motor mount needs drilled and tapped and 1 of the knock sensors needs some alterations but im getting a jdm engine 55k mile engine
bought a 2000 celica gt last yr as my first car bro i understand the hype! i’m still so hyped about it. ur cars are clean af bro i watched ur older vids as well, hope all is well!
When at a red light, I always take my foot of the gas, go into neutral, foot of the clutch, and apply the handbrake, that is way I was taught back in 1968, I really am that old!! To have to wait at the lights with my foot on the clutch, unless it's only for a couple of seconds, would, for me, be quite uncomfortable as I couldn't relax my left leg.
Of course since this is the best video on the subject, that it isn’t more popular but you made this the simplest and it sure helped all who came across this video. Thank you. (I’m looking at getting w manual in hopes to not have my car stolen again lol…)
My biggest issue is learning to stop and down shift at a stop sign, never fails always stalls on me. I can drive manual but stopping lol that's another story
It's expensive. You have to take off the head and oil pan. Take out the pistons and clean the ring lands. Clean out the oil drain back holes in the oil ring and then drill 4 more holes in that area equally spaced. Put it all back together with new gaskets and head bolts and you should be good.
Ive been driving since I was 15. ( older brothers in the 80s) no cops in industrial areas. Im going to share this with my son. Top video young man! Cheers from Australia subbed and liked 👍 ❤
thanks for the patience talk at the end. I just started yesterday and stalled a few times and couldn't understand what I was doing wrong. I know it's going to take a looong time for me but I am going to persist.
I have an 05 That was well cared for and is not all coked up with deposits on the inside of the engine. Despite this, at 160,000 mi it burns oil just like my 2001 GT did at 50,000 mi. Roughly about 1 quart every 5 to 600 mi when driven hard
