Actually hydrogen peroxide alone is an AMAZING odor remover. With pet urine it will smell WORSE while it dries (it's actually evaporating) but one evaporated the smell is GONE....even if you put your nose to the spot...it's gone. What is even better is it never returns like with other so called odor removers. They cover the odor but do not actually remove it. With peroxide, the key is to let it evaporate on its own, don't wipe or soak it up...spray it and forget it and yes 6% is best for this. Try it, you'll be amazed!
People don't use good door mats inside or vacuum regularly, that is why their carpet looks like this. I have had hard flooring for like 10 years, but when I had carpet it still looked good wearing shoes. I replaced due to a water leak. With hard flooring its actually not good for your feet to constantly be walking on them without shoes and many slippers lack the proper support. For me shoes in the house is a convivence thing and it makes me more productive. Also not all guest are comfortable taking shoes off and some may have medical issues. I think walking around the house with no shoes just makes people used to being without them and when they do go out they throw slides or crocs on and these shoes are not good for your feet. I noticed most kids today don't like shoes and it come down to the fact they are inside most of them time barefooted and throw Crocs on when they go out. I see some pretty crusty feet from walking around barefoot and wearing sandals all the time. I'm in my late 40s and still have baby soft feet! I like being dressed with my shoes on, I'm way more productive.
I know I’m asking 2 years after this was posted, but will a dual action polisher work? I have one I’ve used to polish my cars. Wondering if I get the upholstery pads, I could use that polisher. Thanks !
what driver and pad do you use for carpeted stairs? i have a orb600 the white one. also can you recommend a chemical? what is better green dragon or oxy?
I run a 3 stage vacuum that factory came in my sandia portable with 3 stage vacuum added on top from steambrite an man its got strong suction. I like it. Just trying to figure out a way now to have just a little heat inline?? Any ideas. I dont wanna spend $1k on a mytee inline heater
My process was simple. Since I used two cords on the machine, one for the booster and one for the machine itself. I already have two cords available and while I’m in the house, running hoses and setting up and pre-spraying. I dropped two 1500 W bucket heaters in the tank. Utilizing the two cords that were already there. When I finish prepping the home, I would come out unplugged the two bucket heaters plug in the machine and the booster. By that time, the water was piping hot. Leave the bucket heaters in the tank as they will keep the water pretty warm. All the other heaters out there in line heaters, etc. never worked for me. And I didn’t want to get a diesel heat and complicate the whole process, and truthfully, cold water along with good agitation may be using a brush as good as hot water ever used
@@procarpetcleaning nice thank you. So evenwhen u kept the bucket heaters in the feed water tank in ur portable, it kept the water warm the whole time of cleaning?
Good morning sir I have a question about area rugs if I don’t have a oreck xl pro can I use my rotary machine (buffer) or spotter machine that is used for stairs.
Just got my CCT and started my company. I really appreciate your explanation of VLM vs Steaming 👍🏾 They teach how important vacuuming is with all of the methods.
Unfortunately, the use of folex will convert the fats and salts in the urine into a protein bond, causing the Yellowstone to become permanent. The only thing you should’ve used is the hydrogen peroxide. You can try soaking it down with hydrogen peroxide alone to see if it will reverse, the flex out. Hope this helps.
I would absolutely notice the painted grout lines the moment I walked in. The average homeowner would notice it in a heartbeat. That paint has to go or the rest has to be repainted. Black was a terrible choice for that floor. I'm assuming they painted the white tile's grout lines black to match the black grout in the brown tiles. In this case, I agree with you that the cement color is a better look for this floor. I'm regrouting my downstairs 2500 sqft floor, 🙄😳. We bought Prism due to the claims of no need to seal, color stays true, etc. DO NOT BE LIKE ME. Prism is rated the worst grout in a couple side by side tests a large grout company did. 8-9 different grouts used and Prism failed the worst on all categories. I'm in contact with the company now. 😢
Would this work for blue trim that leaked throughout a white bath rug in the wash. The tag said cold water only, but it was accidentally washed in hot water 💦 Ty!
You are absolutely correct. A cloudiness look when dry then it becomes airborne. Each time I rinse with a damp cotton mop it absorbs all this slowly after mopping a number of times the next day maintenance workers do it again using excessive unknown cleaner powder and getting it out mopping and rinse many times is a process for years been kindly explains this issue but upper management tells the supervisor to ignore him, I wear a mask but also it has been drying my eyes. I wonder how rude some key managers can get. Shame that some people Don’t respect people who clean
Hey hey love your videos got lots of good information do you think there's any benefit for in cap carpet cleaners to have a namco style machine in their toolbox so to speak oh really not necessary your thoughts thanks
May ask your opinion on something other than vinegar and water to mop with after my elderly dog pees on my vinyl plank flooring ? She licks the floor just for the heck of licking something. She licks stuff all day , every day since she was young . I don’t want to poison her . I was using bleach in water . But she got diarrhea and I’m not sure if that’s why . But I’m not chancing making her sick . She’s 15 and my little baby. At least she’s tiny so her puddles aren’t that bad . 🤣. I leave pads for her to pee on but she misses a lot . Getting smelly around there cuz she does it while I’m working and it has a chance to dry at times . Thank you ! Love the peroxide idea ! I’d have thought it would kill the smell too . Thank you ! Great video. You should do ASMR . There’s something about your voice that’s relaxing ☺️
3 years ago I didn’t know anything about carpet cleaning I watched a few of your videos and bought a Orick and some Green Dragon I also bought a Mytee hot water extractor I got in with a realtor at first pressure washing houses then she wanted carpet cleaned she recently called and wanted a living room carpet cleaned she said it smells like cat pee and I didn’t have much time before guest would be home I said I could do it VLM and put a fan on it and would be dry in a couple of hours she said great when I got there I layed flat on the ground smelling and nothing I smelled the sofa and chairs nothing then the front door and oh man this was terrible I cleaned this with vinegar and water and disgusting smell was gone I then vacuumed the carpet and cleaned with Green Dragon citrus the place smelled wonderful a few shots of Febreze packed up and left I must say this was the most money per hour I have ever made it actually only took 45 minutes I always follow your videos and when ordering from the encap store I always tell m because of Washington Pro thanks so much for your videos. I go back and watch again sometimes and with this one I see you use a green brush I’ve been using the black I don’t know the difference also use a regular bonnet and I probably don’t put the Green Dragon down as heavy anyway thanks again.
