Happy Birthday Tessie! :) I've never been to the Mickey's not so scary Halloween party. Looked like fun. Especially the Haunted Mansion part. AND - I remember eating at the Liberty Tree years and years ago (yes I am old). It was good home cooking even back then. Thank you for bringing back those memories. And also thank you Jessie for showing us the River boat. I hope they will just "move it" out into the lake somewhere and not get rid of it. Keep those videos coming. And Tessie I hope you had a fantastic birthday.
@@paulam9838 hi Paula! Tressi here….thanks so much for the birthday wishes! It was a fun one this year! I think the Liberty Tree Tavern is the best place to eat at the Magic Kingdo! Thanks again for watching and hope you have a a great evening!
I'm following every video of yours from here on out! I'm with u on the journey since youe first solo gig. Tell the wife to come see your set next next time! In her defense I'm sure she was finishing the curtains lol
Glad you dug the latest one.. My goal is to branch out and get some gigs in some other places in the coming months. Of course I’ll document it all here if I do.. There was no way I’d be able to convince the wife to get ready in that short notice. Haha! I’m sure she’ll be at the next one..
Yo Dude I'm diggin' your channel! The acoustic gigs sound great and I'm sure a blast for the crowd. Also that Tak is a beauty and sounds awesome. G series 93 maybe? Lovely. Keep sharing vids man it's good stuff! I'm prepping to do this kinda thing but I'm not in Florida. So cool!
Thanks! Glad you dug the vid. Yeah the Tak is a GN93. Love it. Sounds great, and not too expensive. Good luck getting your thing going! To me it is very exciting playing solo and being able to play anything I want without having to rehearse and haggle with other band members about songs and opinions etc. Haha! I’m looking forward to branching out and getting more gigs at different places over the coming months. I’ll be sure to document it as it happens.. Thanks for watching!
@@MyDayOff Yeah no doubt, those are the exact same things I like about it. I used to play our parties years ago and played for friends etc but getting my vocal endurance up and learning songs to gig here in VA. Being in a full band is awesome but it's a pain in the ass haha. Looking forward to more content keep em' coming!
Happy Anniversary!! We just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. I really enjoy your videos. Especially enjoyed your playing guitar at the restaurant. It's so nice to see your wife there with you. You are very talented. And she is so supportive. Always keep God first in your marriage, and support each other's dreams. Pray for each other. It really does make a difference. And please keep sharing your day off.
The garlic sucks and way overpriced. $20 for a highly burnt hamburger, my gf got 4 very tiny shrimp in her pasta entree. Never again will my shadow grace their door with my money.
Back for round 2! You got a new sub from me. Question - do you use any effects, like compression, chorus or reverb? Or just plug right into the house system there? Sounds great
@@pikin2 Hey, Thanks for watching! I plug straight in.. I think I used a slight delay off the board on both the guitar and vox.. Eq in some low end on the guitar to get a little bass rumble in the room.. That’s it.. I always try to keep things simple, as I tend to forget to turn off pedals and stuff. Luckily there’s a high end PA at this place, so it’s just plug and play…
@MyDayOff appreciate the reply, and good to know! Having a nice house system makes it so much better, especially not lugging huge PA speakers. Great cover selection too - you had some not so obvious bangers in there. I'll be watching your vids going forward 🤘
Thanks! I love to dig deep on the tunes, still well known hits, just lesser played. There’s plenty of others playing the obvious beat to death stuff, I’d get bored quick doing that. I got a last minute call to play again last Friday night, I wasn’t as prepared to make a vid, but I managed to get a little footage. so I’ll it post soon.. 🤘🏻
The song choices are great! Keep practicing. Get comfortable with the songs and don't force your vocals. Stay in your range. Just let the music flow. It's not easy being a one man band. It's very difficult. I commend you. Stay the course. 👍
We've been dinning there for years & they have the best Prime Rib, & J Alexander's do a great job also. We drive from Orlando 2 dine at Blackbeards periodically!
There are few other authentic places that are much better than this place. I’ve been here 20 yrs. This place is an overpriced tourist spot. But if you’re a tourist, then I guess this place is good for you.
