Spreading awareness and sharing experience of overseas basketball life from the female and person of color's perspective. I love playing overseas basketball, but it is not for everyone! It takes a different type of grind and mindset that we don't experience in the States. Hope to help and encourage any current or future overseas hooper like me!
I played all over the 🌎 (1995-2018) .. in Finland (04-05 Turun NMKY)Never let negative energy mess with your mind or money! New subscriber… Keep shining queen !
You’re welcome! It took some time to heal and grow before I felt comfortable opening up but I just want to inspire others to do the same or to just let them know they aren’t alone
You seem like you have a lot of problems that could have been resolved with just some propper polite behavior or situational awareness. I'm not sure everyone you bump heads with is a racist. You might just have an attitude problem.
By attitude problem do you mean a black woman in an all white country speaking about her experiences of being racially attacked? Being black and standing at a bus stop isn’t “not being proper.” You lack situational awareness & you can’t even spell proper, properly.
i relate so much to this LITERALLY everything you explained that you went through in this video through college, i went through the exact same thing. my coach told me to my face that i am not "basketball material" the way that i play is "ghetto" and for the streets! he told me this at a basketball banquet in front of EVERYONE! i was so depressed and got down on myself really bad. (i just emailed you btw )
Mental health isn’t talking about loud enough, especially in sports! I agree, people have opinions about you, but what do they know, you have to live your life, not them. Don’t let others opinions break you down. Great video!
Such a confusing time, in the moment never understood why things always had to be sooo difficult and so draining despite me doing everything I could right.
@@TheWhisperFisher it is good to get honest feedback, luckily you were good at things which are hardest to change, learning to play better is easiest part to improve 👍
