Thanks for watching the video. Not sure when Parker plans to release the replacement for the 2520 SC, they have not shared that information with the dealers yet. The new 2420 SC (a replacement for the 2320 SC) is the first of the of updated Sport Cabin models and was released earlier this year. The 2120 SC, 2520 SC and 2820 SC are all current legacy models that will be updated, but Parker can only update one model at a time, so it will likely be well into 2025 before we see all these replacements come to market. Parkers has just finished updating its full lineup of center consoles, so all those models are new and now they are moving onto the Sport Cabins.
Thanks for the video! It’d been 2 years now. Have you seen any reliability problems with the new steering mechanism, when compared to the old reliable hydrolic steering?
Thanks for your question. I believe the exhaust system was original, but had been inspected recently and did not show any signs of water intrusion. This boat was sold last summer.
When the informative part of the video starts with "this is the bow" .....Who is this information direct at? IF you don't already know this you've skipped a few classes.
I live in Morehead City NC where Parker Boats are built. I currently own a Keywest Bayreef but if was going to buy a boat to use more offshore Parker or Pair Marine would be my choice! Great boats and never hear any negative on quality.
In UK you could opt for just the flywheel service and get loads of free maintenance from yam dealers Or if you were operating it in harsh environments they would do a recall job and replace the entire crank assembly. I got told most opted for just the flywheel swap to get all the free perks.
Nice boat. I would probably want to put some kind of divider between the Porto potty and the electronics, in case it’s one of those days I lacked fiber in my diet and I might grab it to brace myself..
