No idea what this game is, never heard of it or seen it before but I watched the whole thing. Confused about what was going on? Yes. But I enjoyed the video. Keep up the good work!
lool good luck and have fun with the game, it has a bit of a learning curve but watching tutorials helps a lot. watching other players play helps a lot as well
If i may make a suggestion that might help ya on the high seas; turn your shipyard to high priority relatively early on and youd be surprised at A) how gigantic your navy snowballs, and B)how little extra build power it actually needs until late mid game. GJ otherwise though! 😁
good catch, i don't really change those settings usually, maybe good to play around with it, the bp was more for the eco around since the t1 cons are bad at building quickly and i was lacking space for a lot of winds
i made a mistake sending all my units top, i should have sent more fiends down to help him as soon as i noticed the second and third wave coming in. to add, i wanted to rely on bottom players since they had units just standing at midpoint in the crater. EomirCharlee's base was also very close and were making proper unit counter, imo, so I left it to them while i pushed top further
you just have to hold right click and drag, and let go, works differently for buildings though, you can also do the same with different command types (patrol, fight, etc)
Poor FNS got buillied, bro FFd as soon as your com hit the lab This is peak admos + transport shenanigans 😂 Unrelated, obviously not the biggest game changer but what is your reason for playing with almost top down view. Just preference or slight tactical view advantage?
Yeah the transports are really strong as i mentioned in my other video; there's a couple of people that like to use it often, too The top down view that I use is the default one, I reset it every once in a while, like at 0:04 you see me zoom out by a lot (alt + scroll wheel back), this resets the camera angle to default. I play like this for several reasons, one of them being that I'm used to it. Another would be to see slopes and cliffs better than if I just play total top down view. Though there is a button for it, F8. The only issue I have with it is if there is a mountain and I'm zoomed out (enough to see just the icons), it's hard to tell if they're in front or behind it lol. I've seen some players play with their camera angle toward the horizon and it just doesn't show anything important at all.. it just shows you what's closest to your camera. It's basically the same as zooming in and playing like that all game.. Some of the best players, like Chisato and Nezah, play absolute top down just because they find it most optimal for them to see everything clearly, which definitely mitigates the issue I have with the angle that I use.
I think it depends entirely on the lane match up and the quality of players (even as low OS some are decent enough to be higher rated). For instance, blue had one of the easier matchups, though he preferred to go t2 air emp instead of pushing to win. I didn't have that luxury since my neighbour was against their top OS which could be a gamble if I went T2 air as well.
@@admos484as far as I have seen both games are on a similar scale economy wise. What i did notice is that “bar” is in a bit of a smaller scale / a bit of a faster pace as FA This is the very first game of “BAR” i’ve seen and It does look appealing
@@clamidiha you should try it if you're interested, it's free to play and updates happen quite often. The devs also playtest their updates with the community to see if it's well-liked or well balanced. You can even host your own lobby and change how each map looks if you know the tweaks for them; some are posted on the discord by players.
Are you talking about Fight command? The Fight command makes them lock on to one target and chase it until it dies iirc.. I want the figs to auto-acquire targets ahead of them and not fly around to chase down one target if they so happen to miss and not kill
I think it's a well-deserved nerf for the most part. You can even see me abuse the transport and Comm in this game lol. Commanders are too strong already, and it's difficult for air players to catch a comdropper early on in large maps that it almost makes it one-sided if the strategy succeeds making the game end in 5~12 minutes depending on the damage. Hell, even the high OS players (35+) are done with comdrops. I think T2 trans should be seeing more use.. cortex t2 transport is irrelevant right now thanks to OP EMP on Abductors.
@@admos484 Hehe watching your comm in these matches is the best part. You get insane value with him and the trans. The T2 trans is so true. Thanks brotha, lookin forward to some bombing rungs in the next one :D
fairly solid play from your team at the start but you fall a bit behind tech wise. so maybe when you have over abundance with ress to use them for defensive mesure and building structsure less clumped up so huge chain reaction dont happen
yeah, no problem, me too. I want to be able to do it in under less than hour, possibly 30 minutes without nuke and with units, but that seems impossible right now
Honestly thought the same lool, but I guess we just didnt have enough. Maybe if Choupe had medium tanks instead of pounders we woulda ended two lanes with one push, or if I had actual units and not just Ticks ahaha.
Excellent play with the commander at the end. It was good playing with ya last weekend too. Our match on the tar lake even made it on to Brightworks today
Yeah, thanks! I tried to do it before but was just too slow lol. I also didn't notice the t1 lab at blue's base so seeing a bunch of thugs come out was scary. I also watched the Brightworks video, that was a tough match fr.
