The Soundtrack is the most beatiful form to express Feelings without say nothing, imagine Cal exploring the Ruins of what represented their Order at its Prime, At the same time he has having feelings such as nostalgia for what was, pain from the loss of his friends and master, loneliness in the face of the adversities of the empire, the uncertainty of a future for him and for the order, all these feelings fighting against himself as he tries to remain at peace. that's it my friends is Absolute Cinema.
If Kraven was badass even when he was old and dying of cancer imagine the trouble a younger healthy in his prime Kraven would have been for Peter and Miles.
RU-vid recommended this video for me again after 1 year in 05/09/2024. 16:00 h Time flies man, I never played both the prequel and this one. But watched all the gameplay in the same day it released in youtube. It was the first gameplay I watched from start to end. Soon it will be 2 years later. And I'm feeling nostalgic already 😅 One day I will play this game. Still remember when I spent a good time listening to this specific music and saying something like: "the calm before the storm".
It sucks that this battle is so much better than thor and odin's battle, by a mile. The structure of the battle, the ost and the setting of this battle is miles ahead better. Odin's ost is a massive disappointment. You can tell that that fight is totally rushed to the bone. They wasted a lot of resource for that ironwood crap.
NGL, I didn't cry when I saw the scene. It's not because I'm heartless or because I think real men don't cry or other nonsense. It's because as soon as I heard the name I knew something was up.
The journey lead to this one specific moment.. even crafting a new legendary weapon especially for Heimdall. He was one of the strongest aesir.. and Kratos had to fight him alone. This was such a monumental fight. It really felt like a "you or me" fight. This was one of my favorite battles in gaming so far
I find it interesting that Kratos seems to be taken off-guard more by the monsters and legendary beasts of the mythologies he's encountered. He's rarely, if ever, impressed by gods, but Kratos knows better than to underestimate monsters like Garm, who by themselves could potentially lay all of creation low if they were allowed to run amuck. An unkillable reality tearing giant wolf that knows only violence and destruction is not something to be underestimated, even by the Ghost of Sparta himself.
