I always thought it was really interesting that he chose to write, compose, and perform a love song from the perspective of a woman sung to a man. It's a very unique choice you don't see very often from a musician, and it struck me by surprise the first time I heard it. It was so disarming that I had no choice but to appreciate it.
ive never believed in an artist as i do with anna scouten, her music touched my soul years back with her cover of first day of my life by bright eyes and ive never stopped going back to her music. Pls continue to make music anna, you are a gem

Enjoyed that so much. Led to your stuff via your sister who lives not that very far from me here in Scotland. Listening to that track kind of remided me of another Canadian singer/songwriter by the name of Jenny Ritter. Are you familiar with her or her muusic at all?
