yes, surprisingly quality drops much on high noisy environment. more suitable for quite or light noise like travelling on bus! Thanks for sharing and appreciate your efforts. :)
If you stepped into a small puddle, would water get in due to the drainage holes? I like the idea of quick drying for wet climates but do not intend to submerge them if it can be avoided.
hi, can i check with you if your strap and back of the bag has white stains? i checked with rofmia and they said its salt deposits from sweat which look unlikely.
Awesome detailed review! Just curious, can you give end-to-end length of the bottom of the bag? I find some deals here in australia and want to make this as a camera bag by inserting moment everywhere 4L camera cube. But I'm not sure if it will fit length and depth wise.
Just picked this bag up, second hand, for half of the original cost. I've used the CT21 for 3-4 day trips, so I think the added volume in this bag would be great for up to a week. Thanks for the detailed review--looking forward to using this bag on my summer travels.
I recently grabbed this bag a couple weeks ago and I pulled out the middle dividing wall. I have to make a few modifications to the bag and then it will be a perfect EDC bag for me.
I respectfully suggest that Greenroom136 consider enhancing the design of the shoulder straps on their bag. While the current design may aim for a tactical and EDC aesthetic, it appears somewhat excessive and cluttered with unnecessary buckles. Streamlining the design while maintaining its robustness would improve the overall appearance of the bag.
Thank you! How do you like this compared to the Aer Flight Pack 3? I'm deciding between the two, as the standard wait time for the Northseeker is 6+8 weeks production.
great video really convinced me to place the order for this bag. unfortunately I think this company customization somewhat holding them back... your bag looks great as do many others but many I've seen online have terrible color palettes with no sense of of harmony or balance. For some reason people really want to choose a mix of 3 or 4 extremely loud colors with no neutral to balance it. Really makes the bags look cheap in a certain way. I think the company would do really well to send out review units to big youtubers with pre defined palettes to really show the bag in the best way
I wouldn't say customization holds them back..being able to customize is rare and one of their strengths, mainstream bag makers don't allow for that at all. The thing that holds them back is the lack of completed showcase examples on their website, a real photo of the end product would be more convincing than a 2D mockup visualization. They could just showcase orders that are more tasteful. they do post the completed customs from time to time on social media, some do look better than the default, some really don't as you said but it is easy to overlook and skip these. Customization costs more money and time to make than the default standard versions too.
beautiful bags... im tempted to get one but held back by that terrible logo. Too easily confused/interpreted like "LIE". As an illustrator I would feel strange touting around such a goodlooking bag with such a heinous logo design. I compare to the tom bihn daylight and I think ill choose that for ultra light carry . Waxed canvas such a nice material but 100$ price higher is hard to swallow
thank you for this! I'm still a bit torn between the 20L and 25L; as you said, you could add compression straps and make it “smaller” if you don’t need the space… but I’m worried about weight. how heavy does the 25L get with all the Wildcard add ons?? how much does the standard 20L weight? I don’t want to get a backpack that hurts carrying around! thanks PK :)
There are plenty of excess straps.. dangles, dangles, dangles and dangles... how to manage those dangles on the fly? specially when the straps are pulled tighter/close.
I am a frequent traveler and I bought this based on this video, and it's my biggest regret in recent memory. This jack of all trades does nothing well. It doesn't shave well and the toothbrush is so weak and loud, so it doesn't brush well. The biggest sin of all - super expensive. One would be much much better served by buying an entry model of Sonicare for toothbrush and Norelco for shaver. I bought a $25USD Sonicare 2100, a $30USD Norelco 3000 series. They are lightweight and small, and outperforms this Multihshape in every way. Plus, both of those use standard USB cable for charging... DO NOT BUY THIS PANASONIC JUNK!
Really well done and thorough review. I haven't seen anyone explain how to properly use those clips before. Other reviews complained they were annoying to use.
Wonderful review. I own Rofmia’s small shoulder bag which I use for a camera, and their Daypack M as well. I love the weight and strength of the Dyneema fabric as well as the understated look. Really great bags that they are producing. Looking forward to more details on their new leather Dyneema fabric as well.
Thanks for this review, I am torn between 15 and 18L the 18L is big enough for a 14" MacBook Pro, but I wondered if the zip opening is wide enough to accommodate a 14" MacBook Pro, would you know if that's possible on the 15L ? Thanks,
You must be a fellow night owl huh? 😅 The simple aesthetics of that bag agrees with me too. The only thing I personally prefer is a handle to get it from the floor or a handy "pick up" point.
just received a kemular today... i wasn't a fan of the compression straps, prior to receiving and was a concern. One thing to note... they're removeable :)
