Hi Jayantha, I recently heard from one of SL immigration advisor here that the person who has open work visa (partner of a student) cannot do business.
Always get advise from proper resources. U can see all restrictions / guide lines in Biz Regi Govt website. And read the conditions in ur visa too. It clearly stated there.
Im not giving advise to anyone. But sharing my experience. As I know, one partner visa guy setup a company, got accredited, and recruited from overseas too.
Never seen 'Pol Katu' style, Seen the 'Kolapath style', Can U make a video clip of 'Polkatu Imbul Kiribath' for all this generation to learn and watch.?
Yes. U cant work in any company other than AEWV employer. But doesnt say ‘U cant do a business’. And make sure not to face ‘conflict of interest’. (That is : If your business affects your Employer’s BIZ. ) Don't trigger ur employer & INZ. My point is: If anyone allowed to buy shares of any company in NZ, Ex ; Air NZ, Telecom, Ports and many more... no matter what your visa condition is. If so, why cant be a share holder of your own company ? Always take a legal advise from atleast from 3 resources, If all 3 saying same, That's what U should do.
