Brilliant, I love it, thanks 4 the sharing, it is just what I was looking 4. Wish me luck lady DIY gona give it a go for a similar project I had in mind only a little smaller than your wall, I intend to make an outdoor shower screen😅
Well....I had a rubber back rug in my sunroom and I guess the humidity made it stick😫 Any ideas on how to remove the residue? I tried the green scour pad, gently, and no luck. It's literally on 12-15 tiles😫😫😫😫
Grout paint would work. You could use grout paint to cover up a darker grout and make it lighter. You may have to do two coats though. We recommend you test in a small area first!

Hi I'm from Tamilnadu-India here we widely use terracotta tiles But here we don't use any polisher Could you suggest a few good polishinh products which are available in india
Hello! We are not familiar with sealing product brands available in India. However, the choice depends on whether your tile is pre-sealed or unsealed and the application area. For exterior or wet areas, a more durable solvent-based sealant is usually ideal, while for interior areas, a water-based sealant or polish will work. We recommend confirming that the sealant you choose is intended for use on terracotta.

Terracotta Pavers are perfect for designing brick patios, walkways, driveways, and streetscapes. They also add rustic charm to mudrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. Our pavers are ideal for both residential and commercial projects. However, please note that clay terracotta pavers are not frost-resistant and require additional maintenance and sealing.
This is SO incredibly helpful! I am moving into a new house that has some very old not maintained tile and I need to reseal it. But before I seal it, I think i need to strip it. Do you have any advice on this? Can I sand away the old sealant? Can I rent a machine to help do this? is there any other way than scrubbing by hand because I have over 900 sq ft to do! Thanks so much!!!!
DIY stripping and resealing terracotta tiles is possible. However, since we don’t have specific details about your tiles, we recommend contacting a tile cleaning specialist in your area, especially given the large area you need to cover. They can provide the best guidance and ensure your tiles are properly maintained. Thank you for understanding!

That's our special glaze. It’s a protective coating made from a mixture of minerals and pigments. We apply it by hand or with a spray applicator in our workshops.

I just bought saltillo tiles for my sun room and am crazy excited😊 Couple questions...they came sealed, so how long do you think I'm good for? And, i know I need a hugh quality thin set...suggestions? And lastly, I'd REALLY like to use an orange/red grout, that may not be traditional but look good, right??🤞😊
Resealing will depend on foot traffic and how regularly the Saltillo tile has been cleaned. Typically, after 2-4 years, it's time for a reseal. Here’s a link on how to maintain your tiles: shorturl.at/gvR48 Regarding installation, you can access our installation guidelines here, we recommend using a high-grade, flexible thinset: shorturl.at/cfxM3 A red or orange grout could create a fantastic look. If you're undecided, we suggest having your installer test a small area or board first with various grout samples. For grout, we recommend Mapei Ultracolor Plus FA, which offers several color options. In any case, you should consult your tile installer as every project is different. Thank you, and hope this was helpful. For more help, feel free to email contact@clayimports.com
