Possible driving test routes used at the Gillingham, Sidcup, Erith or Belvedere test centres. I’ve recently moved and Alvaston is my new local test centre

Hi bro can i know at end turning to exit the high way You are using left lane and coming back to right lane again Instead you can use use middle of the road sing so directly you will go to test route yeah
Passed today from Sidcup test centre! It was test route 3! (well, mostly it was route 3, with a little variation) Watched each route about 3 to 4 times! Thanks for the videos! So helpful!
Hey Taz, I have just come back from Sidcup where I had my driving test. I have seen all your Sidcup Routes however the Route 4 was what we followed initially but it got modified along the way, perhaps new routes, happy to say I Passed with 2 minors (it had to be pointed out I guess but they were Awareness/Planning - I missed the right turn towards C.London but came back to it after turning round at BeefEater AND a Junction Observation which I am not sure what it is but I think its when I waited too long to jump into a space before the next set of cars blocked me in and had to wait for them). Thank you for your making these videos, although I am not an absolutely new driver, however I have not driven in UK which is over 10years now and your videos has helped, you were the only instructor I saw that outlined precise routes for Sidcup TC (8 of them) and I see you have done other test centres too. In less than 9.5hrs driving lessons i am done. Thank you.
Hi Taz, Thanks for a very helpful video. A question: Those NO ENTRY signs on the Sidcup Route 7 vlog -( Queen Mary Roundabout) heading towards Bexley are very confusing I thought..
Passed today with 2 minors, thank you for these videos. Anybody doing a test i would recommend sidcup because the instructors are sooooo friendly and the area was quiet when i done my test at 10:14.
Got my test on Sunday Feb 11, 11:41am in Sidcup where i have never driven before but your videos are really helpful. What route am i most likely to get?
@drivingwithtaz3231 Thanks Taz for your videos, i was confident before the test but the route i had was different from all the 8 routes i watch here. I had to drive on a national speed limit road aswell. Being my first time driving in Sidcup and seeing different routes from the 8 videos, i got nervous and lost some confidence I failed with 5 serious faults 1. Move off - Safety 2. Move off - Control 3. Control - Steering 4. Junctions - Turning right 5. Use of mirrors - Change direction 1. *Move off control* - After an emergency stop, i didn't go back to first gear and tried moving off in 3rd. Stalled like 4 times on that spot before realising i was still in 3rd. That moment was where i lost, felt disappointed and thought I've probably failed and (stalled 1 more occasion during the test trying to move off) 2. *Junctions - Turning right* - at the juction after the emergency stop, i wasn't sure if it was a one way because i thought i saw only 1 big give way line, so i positioned on the right and car was sticking out a little bit which made oncoming traffic slow down for me. I completely lost it there and didn't care. Kept shaking my head until the end 3. *Move off - Safety* - He said i wasn't checking my right blind spot properly. I need to lean forward more and look 4. *Control - Steering* - As it was an area i haven't driven before, there was an area i did a u-turn but it was like 3 car lengths on between each turn. I wasn't familiar with that road so he had to grab the steering at one point because i was too close to a parked van 5. *Use of mirrors - Change direction* at a roundabout, i was truning right, 3rd exit. Positioned correctly, signaled right but i tried exiting at the 2nd (was a big roundabout and i miscounted). That wouldn't have been a serious but there was a car beside me and didnt observe, he had to grab the steering to redirect me. Driving faults all together • Move off - Safety, 4 • Control - Gears, 1 • Move off - Control, 1 • Signals - Correctly, 1 • Awareness / Planning, 1 • Junctions - Approach speed, 1 • Positioning - Normal driving, 1 I'll book another one and maybe stick to Belvedere where i had all my lessons
I passed my test today in derby. Your videos were so helpful. I watched this one multiple times and it turned out to be my test route 😅❤ It was “nice and easy”
What do you think of Belvedere's routes overall? Anywhere we should pay more attention to? I find coming off the test centre road can be tricky and heard people failed there before for positioning for the turn.
Yes make sure if your going left you get over to the left and over to the right for turning right. It’s a hard test centre but if you can show the examiner that you can drive safely then you will pass. Good luck 🚙
just had my test today, i did this route. i failed as the roundabout onto the national speed limit road at 13:15 i just didn’t see it, carried on at 30mph 🥲
I have my test on 2 days , so nervous about . Do you know which road will be on Wednesday 11:11. I love your videos . And helps me a lot to know Gillingham as I never drive there.
