@@rizkyanandita8227 Gosho Aoyama sure must’ve had some certain intentions with his characters and must’ve hand picked certain seiyuu for his characters, like Wataru Takagi, Minami Takayama as Conan and also Minami appearing as herself, and Shuichi Ikeda as Shuichi Akai and Tooru Furuya as Rei Furuya.
@@lupinvash3 with the exception of Takagi the other one regarding of how the casting work is just miracle. The reason I singled Takagi because of the behind the scene story of how the character are named. Megure V.A. asked who the police detective name and he answer Takagi. I might get the detail wrong, but that is the gist of it.
@@rizkyanandita8227 to be exact Takagi is named after his voice actor. In the anime he was originally a nameless character called "Detective A" who would appear in the background in some episodes. However while recording for episode 66, Megure's voice actor Chafurin adlibbed asking Detective A "What's your name?", to which Takagi's voice actor mistakenly responded with his own name and replied "It's Takagi". While this ad-lib was not kept in for the airing, the name stuck and is used in this episode and beyond
This whole improv is so wholesome and 100% the reason I want Conan to stay friends with Mitsuhiko, Genta and Ayumi even after going back to being Shinichi. The Detective Boys are great and I would die for every one of them.
I agree really. The Junior Detective League (I'm going by that name cause they have two girls and I usually watch the dub) are a great group of friends for both Jimmy and Ai. When they return to their normal selves, I want them to stay friends with the JDL, perhaps even by mentors for them on learning how to be real detectives
