Hey, if you're reading this I'm very new to this and I have a lot to learn, I'd love it if you would stick around. :) My content will evolve in the future, so don't expect Oblivion content forever.
Came across your video here and enjoyed it. The Thieves Guild has always been my favorite quest line in Oblivion. Always glad to see someone new to it doing it for the first time. Thanks for posting it.
sweet glad you did the Thieves guild Questline finally. funny thing about them is they were the last questline for me to 100 precent the game on my Xbox
First time I went to find the tears, I used some explosive spell on a frost atronach and the tears went ricocheting off to their own bloody plain of oblivion for all I could figure out :|
I find it strange that they both serve the mad god but are constantly killing each other to try to get his attention but i guess it is the realm of the mad god guess it dont really make sense kinda the point lol
Oblivion ghosts, zombies, spirits, Ghouls, are scary af. Skyrim really failed at it. Only Draugger's lord are sacry. Btw +++💪 for playing a dark elf in oblivion. I really like their sprites too.
Just some constructive criticism here, but I feel like the background music, while fitting the "mad" theme, is a little too loud and doesn't quite fit the realm of dementia.
I am glad you did more of the main questline of this great Expansion. you should do Sheo's shrine quest after completing this expansion, it's got great changes.
I'm pretty sure it's just Haskill's instead of Sheogorath's voice on the shrine. I've done that quest on the channel before though, I'm not sure how I'd do it again lol.
Nice choice with the music. Definitely good alternative to original OST but only in the Shivering Isles. That quick beat jazz while in the village of Split was well placed👌
Why does Mephala talk like she is on crack? You can tell the VA did not want to do that voice after sitting through argonian NPC dialogue, she saw the script broken up into the blocks for the subtitles and just cruised right though each with next to no pause. It kinda sounds like they had to splice her takes together and it didnt fully work.
@ Oh yeah. Loads of mods. Too many mods. It's hard to choose just one, frankly. I recommend Ascension combined with Balanced Creature Stats and Balanced NPC Level Cap, three mods made by PushTheWinButton, designed to work together to solve the most egregious vanilla Oblivion balance issues with as soft a touch as possible. Balanced Unleveled Rewards is another good mod by that same person, although I'm less familiar with the details of that one, so caveat emptor. Other than that, you could just... never sleep. Stay at level 1 forever. I wish I could do that in real life...
A trip down memory lane with the unironically most (intentionally & unintentionally) endearing game from my pipsqueak days. Nostalgia (for simpler times)
