Hello welcome to my channel, my name is Avery and I post Let's Plays of any game that interests me! My favorite game is Assassin's Creed, I am big into stealth so you will see me doing that a lot. I am also a completionist and will 100% most games I play.
@@KlaxoPisitl I'M SO ASHAMED OF BEING HUMAN. Considering you just insulted "all of your viewers watching", I'm sure they all feel just as apologetic knowing what you think of them.
I don't think that you actually found that data point. That was the one I mentioned before about the Well-Traveled Aram and how he "fronted" about not being brave enough to go into the Forbidden West in contrast to what the other data point that Oseram in the Spinebreak wrote.
You’re putting way to much faith in me to remember how many datapoints I previously discovered lol. However I think I noticed while editing this video that the focus does say “new datapoint discovered” when you first scan it.
This episode was so much fun, and your let's plays are really enjoyable. I'm also a big fan of the Quen tribe, they're such an interesting group/tribe.Also this whole biomass conversion thing is just a really dumb idea,I feel like they never had any real control over those Faro machines. Ted Faro specifically instructed his engineers not to create any back door access into the machines, and I think it was just because of his recklessness and short-sightedness. Plus, the Faro robots were protected from being hacked themselves with this crazy hard encryption protocol that would take decades to brute-force,even with the most advanced supercomputers. What I really appreciate about the Faro plague, this kind of doomsday scenario, is that it feels so real. Like the Faro machines weren't evil,it wasn't a robot uprising. When the glitch happened they were still doing what they were programmed to do,they were shooting/killing and consuming biomass to fuel themselves but now they were killing everything and everyone.
Thank you so much, I put a lot of work into this channel (as much as I can while also having a job and not getting burnt out) so I’m glad at least some people enjoy it! I’m also really interested in the Quen, I know they play a bigger role in the DLC so I’m excited to get into that soon!🤞🏻
@@KlaxoPisitl I watch other people's videos, I don't post my own. Honestly, I can barely check my email. You must have lost your commentary down your couch cushions, because other than that, I have no clue what happened to it.
Actually, to clarify, the Zenith's have both the APOLLO database they traded with Zero Dawn for and they've captured the APOLLO subordinate function that was brought to life by the Extinction Signal and escaped with the others.
I’ve completed the main story and I only just did the gate of the vanquished quest about two hours ago. Also i love ur videos dude, I don’t see many channels that don’t just do the main story and it’s really cool and interesting to watch someone else play the full game and see their opinions. You deserve so many more subs, keep up the good work
A good analogy: The 3 Tenakth Clans and their Commanders are like Governors at their State Capitols. Chief Hekarro and the Grove are like the President and Washington D.C.
Itamen's Shadow Captured is foreshadowing the events in the spinoff VR game Horizon: Call of the Mountain, which was months away from being released when this game came out. Ryas, the Shadow Carja prisoner who kidnapped Itamen and took him to Sunfall on Helis's order during the Liberation, is the protagonist, though Aloy does make a cameo in the beginning. Ryas is released from prison by Marad in exchange for helping to investigate another threat to the Sundom. Ryas estranged relationship with his brother Urid, who fought with on Avad's side, is a major plot point in the game.
@@KlaxoPisitl Yes but there are still the tutorials that have you use different techniques using new skills that are unlocked. They are optional and don't affect 100% status (like machine strike and datapoints) but its possible they can still come up on the map as to qualify as incomplete and try to direct you back there. I think there were still tutorials that were locked because you hadn't used your skill points to activate them. Block Breaker for example.
This place is a stand alone area. Once you leave here, you won't be coming back. So I think you automatically get the datapoints here so you won't be cut off like Cauldron Epsilon in the last game.
Remember, there were 9 Subordinate Functions out there. We've met 2 of them and seen traces of a 3rd. 6 still unaccounted for, including APOLLO. Ted Faro erased the APOLLO database but the actually Subordinate function itself, the teaching program, still exists and escaped just like the others.
Hephaestus is the one responsible for making all the new combat machines that have been seen in in the last 19 years since GAIA's destruction. Sawtooth's, Ravagers, Thunderjaws. Using GAIA's designs of ancient extinct creatures to create enforcers to protect the "normal" machines, not just here but in all the different Cauldrons. In addition, Hephaestus can also turn the normal machines into enforcers when it needs to using those control towers. These are the ones called Daemonic with the purple glow. The Derangement is the terraforming system spiraling out of control without GAIA, so sometimes the machines go crazy on their own without Hephaestus. The Derangement and the appearance of Hephaestus hunter killers are two separate things but caused by the same event: the signal that GAIA received 19 years ago.
Remember in one of Elisabet's repaired journals, she mentioned how the Alpha of the DEMETER subordinate, Tanaka Naoto, was always quoting poetry and how she would lucky to get out of his lab without a copy of Tennyson? Demeter was the Greek goddess of agriculture, like Hades was god of death and Hephaestus was god of the forge. The poetry was a tribute from DEMETER to Tanaka, its creator, and probably put those flowers around Elisabet's body for the same reason.
Yeahh, see I was confused because Cyan said that the subordinate function couldn't make it's own poetry. But I'm guessing because of the signal giving them somewhat sentience it's able to just make up whatever bullshit it feel like. I am SO UPSET that I didn't read the poems attached to the Metal Flowers!!
I guess you've probably figured out by now that you missed one audio datapoint in Cauldron Epsilon and now that its destroyed you can only get as far as the entrance of the Cauldron in Firebreak so it is the only missing one you can't go back for. The only way to get it if you want it is to reload. Bummer.
@@KlaxoPisitl I was screaming at my computer when you walked by it, in the hallway on the left right after the 3rd CYAN hologram datapoint. I knew it would make you crazy when you realized.
@@Miller_Boxx So close.. yeah I'm disappointed when I find out but if there isn't anything I can do about it I try not to let it bother me too much... now it would have really sucked if the Special Mod I missed in Firebreak was locked off keeping me from getting 100%.
@@KlaxoPisitl Cool. If I really wanted to bust your chops, I would have also pointed out that you wrote Trail instead of Trial but I'm just too nice to do that.
Montana Recreations is the company that makes the figurines, not necessarily where they are located. Remember, the Nora are in Colorado and the Carja in Utah so you would have skipped a lot of real estate to be in Montana.
The Operations Log datapoint makes a lot more sense if you read it after seeing GAIA's message. GAIA was brought online January 2066 (according to the Zero Dawn Holograms). Presumably, MINERVA cracked the Faro Swarm codes approx. 50 years later and used the other Subordinate Functions to make the Earth inhabitable again before growing the babies in the ELEUTHIA Cradles. The Cradle inhabitants were all released worldwide on March 16, 2326, (260 years later after GAIA was brought online) as teenagers with only a Kindergarten level education because of the inability to use APOLLO. GAIA Prime received the "transmission" that awakened HADES (and the others) on August 26, 3020 (694 years after the kids were released and spent nearly seven centuries building up their own primitive tribal cultures. For example, the Nora and Carja ancestors both came out of ELEUTHIA 9, Brood 1). The same day she received the signal and self-destructed, GAIA ordered Elisabeth's DNA placed inside an artificial womb and 9 months later on April 4th, 3021, Aloy (or #LK1A1-4510) was delivered from the womb by multi-servitor B1-23 and placed outside the hatch to be found by the Matriarchs. The present year in HZD (by our calendar) is 3040.
Thanks for the recap, sorry I didn't reply sooner, I didn't get notified rip. I do have a question, from what I remember the Matriarchs claim Aloy was the result of the All-Mothers fight with the Metal Devil, but what was that "fight"? I assume it was just the door of the Cradle opening and the Matriarchs freaking out. Also what did the Carja find to make them migrate West? Obviously something to do with the Earth and its poles considering they named their Holy City Meridian. Assuming none of this is covered in Forbidden West :)
@@KlaxoPisitl I think the fight was just 1000 year old myth that developed from what their ancestors remember of the Cradle servitors telling them about GAIA stopping the FARO Swarm with Minerva plus seeing the Metal Devil that at some point crashed through the roof of the cave when they saw it upon exit. As for what they found, "the Leaves" as the Carja call them were obviously pages of a book or books they found. Wasn't the place above the Ancient Armory an old library? Maybe Araman found them there. Maybe one of the Leaves was actually a World Atlas?
Hey tell me something. Do you guys upload new videos ahead of time or as they're completed? Reason I ask is because you guys have had a consistent number of 17 unavailable videos in your HZD playlist and I'm curious if those are future gameplay videos that aren't available yet or something else.
Oh you can see those😅 those are all the videos I have scheduled to post over the next week. I edit more than I upload so those are future videos. Does it look bad? As you can probably tell I have no idea what I am doing..
@@KlaxoPisitl No not bad. Just the numbers have stayed consistent at 17 or 18 since I started watching and I didn't know if you uploaded on a set schedule or not.
@@Miller_Boxx So my schedule right now is at least two videos a day at a 2PM and 8PM. However I don't like having videos scheduled over a week out so I've just been making them public as I schedule more so its kinda random right now.
@@KlaxoPisitl Sure, if you had only found half of them you could probably live with it but when there is just one or two left to find, you can lose sleep. Been there.
@@KlaxoPisitl Yeah also I noticed that you guys are holding off on Frozen Wilds till the end. I guess if you've completed the game then I can tell you that the canon of the game is that the Frozen Wilds takes place before the final main quest in the game because the game resets to right before the end so you finish anything else ahead of time so you can interact with some NPCs you wouldn't have otherwise found. I guess that Guerilla learned from that which is why they made the Burning Shores DLC so that it can't be started until after the last main quest of Forbidden West is done.
@@Miller_Boxx Yeah The Frozen Wilds Let's Play should be starting in the next couple weeks. We only miss one side mission and one errand so after the "end" there will be a few epilogue videos collecting that stuff.
Hello! Yes we have, unfortunately to say I’m behind on my editing is an understatement! I’m actually going to be editing the Free Heap video today, so it should be up in about a week or so, why do you ask?
