if it don't work on your specific tv either you have the wron hdmi spec and cec handshake issues as for the console should suppor widescreen as a default optionn not sure on the slims however i do believe the phats do support widescreen, you're in 4:3 mode
I bought this and I installed it in my PlayStation 5 .. what do I do after I install it I turned on my system and I don't see any extra storage anywhere is there something I have to do
Btw, instead of the first tenkaichi game, try the second installment. Its my favorite in the series and its got a killer soundtrack. It's much cheaper than tenkaichi 3 as well. Great video and interesting choice of games to test out the console with.
Great video. It was good to hear someone love this game, even though I really didn't, personally. If 1 & 2 are like a five star wine/scotch mix, III is like Lite beer for me.😂😂😂 Sure it still had that TM feel, but it was like a splash of flavor in a tank of water.😂
i use a ps2 scart cable (yes, you can use a pal region one) and plug that into an O.S.S.C. honestly i cant play it without an upscaler like that. its so blurry it gives me headache.
Very nice, thanks for this video. I noticed that if you rather playing on full screen you should remove the mClassic device. I bought a cheap hdmi converter and it doesn’t have a feature to stretch the image on the entire screen which is a disadvantage in my opinion. I’ll have a look on this device you’ve recommended.
Thecoverproject is nice but they are missing some games. I found more at mobygames. I don't know if the image sizes are correct. But I found some more that I am looking for
going to try to upgrade to a bigger hard drive soon and will report the results. It is worth mentioning that PS3 needs a 2.5 inch type of hard drive I know it's something small but it can make a difference if someone orders one or potentially gets scammed by not knowing the type of Hard drive PS3 needs. I say this because while working on my OG xbox I learned the hard way the difference between SATA and IDE hard drives. I had several hard SATA hard drives ready to go from my previous OG xbox later on finding out I need a 2.5 SATA. Again very small but very important information.
Same settings and resolution, as far as I can discern (gimp doesn't show me alignment and scale settings). I seem to be missing 8mm total (4mm on each end) in width and 4mm in height (2mm on each end)... The spine is still fine though. I used mm with my first print, and that caused the image to be super tiny even though it translated correctly to inches when I changed that setting later (which then resulted in what I reported above). Any idea what the problem might be?
I might be 2 years late, but I recently pulled out my slim and just can't stand the blurriness. I hope this 2 piece combo is still valid today, or I just threw $103 down the drain. We'll see
@wizology_ it does work to a great extent, but it also does depends on the setting of your recording software. Because I notice if you go live, there can be lag spikes from very often to a minimal.
How does this work with running 50hz PAL games on a modern 60-120hz smart TV? I have a region-free PS2 and playing NTSC is no problem, but any PAL games without 60hz options in-game are impossible to crop and are cut off at the bottom. I tried all the settings within the PS2 and disabling/enabling autofit on my TV, but even when both are set to 4:3 the issue remains. Also, when I try to use custom settings I can't reposition the screen as it's greyed out. I'm currently using one of those cheap-o hdmi converters so hoping this addresses the problem of refresh rates.
Back in 2015 I bought every Ratchet & Clank game ever released for the PS3 and seeing the prices today in ebay, amazon, facebook etc. I'm happy that I got most of them. But out of all of them my physical copy of Quest for Booty was by far the most expensive one although I got it without the booklet but still valuable.
