Absolutely Love Love This Song. Absolutely Hands Down Her Best Song In My Opinion , She Can Keep Trying But For ME I Will Say She Has NO Chance Beating This Completely Awesome and Outstanding Song. Reminds me of the absolute awesome, outstanding Poker Face from Lady Gaga
When you let me inside your head you gave me a different way of giving me a good reason to actually survive. I know you feel ripped off and I saw that in your movements as if your more motivated but yet aggravated as ever I am sure the two of them will figure out the right thing to do. I drove my self crazy asking if you are doing the right thing. My God just relax you are fine just go see if the weather is warm or cool
The last part had me dying… it gives me huge goose bumps… i wonder how a human’s voice can do such things… she’s perfect and there’s nothing else to say
I’m a child from the 80s. I grew up fascinated with Kate Bush version. But I love this one so much I may like just a little more than the 80s. Thank you Meg Meyers for covering this song ❤
For those of you saying she's lip syncing and using auto tune, its called a back track. Clearly y'all don't know what that means so let me just quickly define it for you. Its basically playing the studio recorded song somewhat quietly in the background for extra lyrics that most singers don't sing in live performances ( like the yeah, yeahs, and ooh, oohs, and ahh, ahhs, etc). She is using auto tune in this specific song, you can obviously hear it. It is extremely difficult to be jumping around while singing notes like that on perfect pitch. It was intended to sound auto tuned (which it was) based off of the song style. Y'all really need to stop acting like you know everything and give her some credit because she's a queen and she deserves it.
This is just straight up bs. I've been working as a live sound engineer for about 15 years now and I have experience with these so called "backing tracks". They're def using a backing track here with everything that the "band" can't play live. We're hearing a ton of keyboards and synths and we only see a drummer and guitarist. Even parts of the drums are playback.. Aside from that we hear vocal stacks (probably overdubs that made it on the studio record). BUT we're also hearing a pre recorded lead vocal (not the studio vocal, but a specially recorded vocal for live situations). She also sings on top of that, but majority of the sound you're hearing is coming from the playback rig. These "backing tracks" are not just playing quietly in the background, but make the whole performance. It's not bad at all, it's just not a 100% real live performance.
