Just a word if caution for people who do not know much about batteries and those exposed metal probes. Be extremely careful and DO NOT allow those metal probes to touch each other. At 12 volts it is not really an electrocution issue, but a burn issue with up several 100 amps. Arc flash and flying molten metal which can occur nearly instantly. I do the same thing, but with very little exposed metal tips to reduce the possibility of a short circuit.
@@McDubz lol, I have since gotten the seat to move back by using a 24v battery and attaching it directly to the power to the seat. I cannot remember which wires, but I do remember one was orange. Seat could not wait to move back with 24v going to it. I'm not mad at the truck anymore. Lmao
The shaft that comes out of the motor is flexible - you can carefully disconnect the plastic tube by bending it out. Once the shaft is disconnected from the motor you can put it in a power drill and use your drill as the motor per se, to move the seat front or back. Your results may vary, I know it's possible but I wasn't able to do it without breaking anything. The reason we made this video was I had broken the motor assembly when I pulled a pair of seats from the junkyard and needed these assemblies to swap in. The safest way would be to use a battery pack to jump the power connector under the seat and operate it as intended. There are wire diagrams online on forums.

After filming this video, I immediately went to a more aggressive exhaust setup... See my other vids. The magnaflow cat hardly made a difference in sound, maybe made the car a bit more growly. This was so long ago I hardly remember lol. But this definitely wouldn't be any more annoying than stock.
@@McDubz Mine is my daily, so I really wanted a small exhuast mod to slightly improve power and noise without any "ricey" sounds, would you recommend it? It didnt sound too raspy and seems to still maintain some of the stock sound
Can't recall, I change it up a lot. Probably around 4k. I usually go on the higher side so I can control wheelspin, better than launching too low and not having boost
Only driven around the block so far, and it's the first set of all terrains I've ever owned... But the road noise is lower than I expected, can't tell a difference from the touring Hankooks that were on my stockers.
Update I'm really loving these tires have a couple thousand miles on them. Took a couple tries to get them balanced properly, but they were smooth and quiet on my cross-state road trip last month.
I'd really like to hear more sound clips of this car, I'm thinking about going with the same setup. 18 inch resonators would probably make this thing sound even more amazing.

Performance wise there's really not much of a difference, but the sound is perfect now in my opinion. Maybe would have more effect with a tune? Worth it cause it's such a cheap mod, got mine 80 bucks used
