It can only do that when to rotor stops and acts like a wing .They use the jet for propulsion when making turns like this then turn the rotor back on for normal flight.Amazing machine.
This sound is killer of a very high-speed main rotor. 💀 And such a childishly small tail rotor. 😂 A beautiful helicopter, although the EC-135 looks nicer.😑

bonjour je vous remercie pour votre partage pour votre travail pour votre courage je m intéresse depuis peu au pilotage d hélicoptère sincèrement je n envisage même pas de piloter de cette manière à travers les bois les forêts en montée et en piqué je laisse ceux qui en ont les capacités déjà faire décoller un hélicoptère en toute sécurité ce n est pas évident certains préconisent le décollage en arrière à chaque fois que c est possible car si un problème survient c est plus facile de le poser en marche avant c est dire des précautions à prendre alors pour le reste je n en parle même pas après il faut savoir si le moteur de l hélicoptère est à piston où à turbine pour connaître le type de carburant à utiliser le jet A 1 ou autre bref bon courage
Does the tail stinger make contact with the tarmac at 15 seconds in? And that landing at 2:45 is a very poor piece of airmanship. His downwash has the blades on the other EC145 bouncing up and down in an alarming fashion. If I was the pilot of that second helicopter, I'd be having words with the Gendarmerie pilot.
Sehr riskantes Manöver des RTH-Piloten..... Meiner Meinung nach! Der Abtrieb des Hauptrotors "Downwash", hätte dem Kleinflugzeug durchaus zum Verhängnis werden können!!! In dem Video sieht es fast so aus, als würde der Heli fast über dem Flugzeug fliegen. Kann natürlich auch, durch die Perspektive des Filmers, täuschen.
