My channel will be showing you how to maintain and keep your car or truck on the road, and still have fun with them. I will be working on my families vehicles and walking you through the repair process of each of my vehicles. As of today's date I own three vehicles. lets start with a my wife's truck, its a 2007 jeep liberty. Then we have my newest edition that replaced my 1999 dodge Dakota and it is a 1995 Jeep Wrangler 4X4 which I am calling it my ZOMBICON 13. Last but not least I have my 1968 VW bug volksrod. I’m calling it Night Owl. Please come join in the fun learning experiences of working on your own vehicles. Most of these repairs that I do will cross over to many other vehicles, however the location of the parts may be in a different location. Some of my videos I will be working on my friends cars or trucks, however I will be mainly focusing on my families vehicles. Please like and Subscribe if they are helpful to you.
This video was fantastic. I couldn't figure out how to change the ignition switch. This showed me exactly how. It was still very difficult to get out. Mine was very stuck, but its removal wouldn't have been possible without this video. Thank you!
We rent and this is the washer that was here. We have a maintenance guy that owns an appliance repair shop and the employee he sent can't figure it out either. I absolutely hate these things. Been washing my stuff at my mother in law's house for a week now...
This needs much more explanation otherwise people following it will overtighten and wear their steering boxes out very fast. Its best to eliminate play from all other areas before messing with the box (i.e. tie rods, u-joints etc). If you adjust and your steering doesn't return to 45 degrees before centre then it's too tight and you need to slacken the adjustment otherwise your box will wear out fast.
Where is the rest of the video!?! You got 1/3 of the way and then just ended with “ok I’m done”. What happened? I mean, seriously, the cutting it off part is obvious, I wanted to see how you put it back together, any issues you ran into etc.
Yep you’re right I was going to post the second part of the video and haven’t gotten to it yet. Do to answer your question the only issue I had was realigning the doors. After I cut the corner out the body dropped. I corrected some of it when I bolted and welded the boat side back on. The other part had to be corrected either way the hinges. I will see if I can get the follow up video edited and posted soon. I got busy and forgot to get back to it.
Thank you. The install took more than I expected but I also wanted them further forward because I didn’t want my knees into the steering wheel. They seem to work great. I need to get back onto the build.
What a load of b.s. these washers are. Just need a basic fill, wash, rinse & spin. Washers lasted 20 yrs just doing that. No one should have to be a diagnostic tech or mechanic to have an appliance last a good 10 yrs at least.
Sensing shifter not working due to lid lock ? Is that possible? Replaced lid lock sensor but lid lock did not activate went through diagnostic steps to it washed see if it shifts past wash it was stuck in sensing ?! Now it advanced to wash?!
What are the yellow and white switches called ? I disconnected mine and a small copper piece fell out as well and now I can’t get my jeep to start after finishing installation
NO do you understand how lucky you are to find a SERVICE manual just taped inside the washer ? I can't imagine they did that often and when they did that it stayed inside the washer when you come across one years later. if I had a manual, I wouldn't need you to explain a thing !
My washer is having this exact problem. After pressing start while done is selected and all are blinking, I clicked it counterclockwise as you did in the video. It was blinking sensing. I tried diagnostic mode again but turned it clockwise and different things lit up. I am confused on what my issue is now 🥴
Thanks for sharing. I just wish there were no so many places around that like to rip off women when they take their cars into the shop to get fix. I am currently having that lighting bolt and now I am depress cause I do not have no one I trust to take it to.
You should place a towel around the circumference of the basket inside. I saw you dropped a screw or a washer. That will keep them from going down into the bottom of the basin and potentially getting ground up while you’re doing laundry.
I cannot thank you enough for these Whirlpool videos. I'm 58 year old woman and we're always broke. Our less than 8 yo washer started messing up. We paid a repair man who ran a dx and reset for $70. Now I can do for free until we can figure out to replace the part (most likely the shift sensor shown in another video) or find a way to replace if part is too expensive. You are truly a Godsend.
First off not sure where you are getting your parts from. I searched all over the internet and this was the best price at the time. Secondly you should probably look up the definition of gipped. It has nothing to do with what happened to me and this part. Definition of gipped: to vomit or feel like vomiting.
@@OFFAxisBuildsThe fact that you felt the need to respond with an insult that had nothing to do with what I said. Point being you spent way too much money and you got “gipped.” And yes, it is a real word and yes it does mean you got scammed, ripped off, overpaid. If you want I can provide you a link to the definition since you are so obsessed with words you don’t understand.
Did you ever finish the install? I bought these same regulators for my 1-piece in a '70 Baja rebuild. I've had to bed the regulator brackets to get it to fit, and something still isnt right. Struggling.
The nut holding the motor pulley up has worked loose and it’s also stripped out so I can’t take it off. I’ve tried pushing the pulley wheel up to engage the gears to get the nut off but it still free spins. Any suggestions?
It was a smitty built cage for a TJ that I modified to fit a Yj. I couldn’t find one for a Yj. I also got the poison spider a piller mounts. However it looks like they are not selling them on Amazon anymore. amzn.to/43HOxdL amzn.to/49j8qJz
