Hello hello hello! I’m a Content Creator on YT and Twitch! Don’t recognize my accent? I’m a Canadian living in Britain - it’s wonky to say the least. So glad you are here! Let's play some games!
Wow, that research is so different! I see even the Carpenter and Stone Cutter need to be unlocked these days. (Then again, the Kitchen no longer needs Planks and Stone Slabs.) Clay seems to been invented as a way to penalise you for going through the relatively hospitable Desert. You seem to be running low on tools; I hope there's a way to avoid soft-locking yourself.
You can get tools through trade, scavenging, and eventually crafting them yourself. Seem to be ok at the moment. You can always deconstruct the buildings that need tools for 100% refund. It is very different! A lot of changes in this version! Thanks for watching 💛💛💛
@@EveyGreenbottle Ah, that 100% refund makes sense, basically it means you can move the various harvesting buildings with the only cost being time. I was worried about that.
@@urkerab I was at first too! They also build and demolish the harvesting buildings for logs and stone very quickly so it isn't even that much time, bit it is another thing to manage and keep an eye on.
This had been fun to watch evie! Glad to see the change and while it is very different from stock wandering village, i do hope it becomes a lot of fun for you, still gonna play it easy on onbu considering your on relaxed mode? (hint hint at our last chat)
Don't quote me on this, but I think your clicks can carry over to the next day. The issue is whether or not you have enough click storage to hold those clicks and the new clicks create the next day as well.
I think you should along with the hostile modifiers, have more placement on the things that isnt good for onbu, like the feeding pump cuz i imagine it will be hard to get food for him the normal way, making use of the efficient way of feeding. Pumping directly into his body
I've never used any of those mean things before! I am the kind of person who can't choose the sarcastic or mean dialogue options in games for fear of hurting the feelings of NPCs 🙃 But with the hostility modifiers, it might be necessary!
@EveyGreenbottle we will just have to see, put in a metric as this. Yes it cause pain, but its better then the pain of not being able to provide. "A man has his leg cut off, he can ever live in pain knowing his leg is gone, or he can do the hard thing and learn and adapt" No matter is hard enough if you adapt

"Are things going too well?" 😄 Can't wait to see what part 2 brings!
I had a blast playing this game - the magnetic arm fella was fantastic with a magnet, armor, poison build! My friend swears by the pet gal but I haven't tried her yet.
Going to do a YT run with the magnetic arm guy! He's great! I love the magnets. I've been doing a bunch of these runs - all recorded - some episodes are 16 minutes long, some 40+ minutes :P Thanks for watching <3

Apparently when I was a kid, I sleepwalked into my older sister's room and was convinced there were dinosaurs outside her window
@@EveyGreenbottle I haven't watched the video (not into bullet hell/heaven type games) but it occurred to me that this one would have some great comments; I was not disappointed.
This was definitely a pleasant series to watch. I can agree that the placements of the dirt areas of this playthrough were great. My current game has the dirt winding across Onbu's back and it's made my farming spots fairly awkward. I've also found it to be difficult to harvest spores for the special meds for the big guy. Not sure if it's a bug in my game or if I needed to have more people set up as harvesters specifically. I chose not to build the decontaminator, so that I wouldn't burn them, but my dudes just seemed to destroy the spores. Overall, I really enjoyed watching your playthrough and I have a few ideas based on how you established your base that will make my next attempt more enjoyable. Thanks for the vids and hope to see more of the modifiers later on. :)
Thank you so much! I think the dirt spots are so important. If they are badly located, or too broken up it can make farm placement annoying. I like having the dirt at the front so we are growing mushrooms near where we need them. I don’t know if they’ll collect the spores if you haven’t built the spore processing thing. I also make sure to turn my builders onto Harvesting when there are spores around. Thank you so much for watching! Will be back with some new challenges soon 💛💛

So close 😢 Maybe one of the other characters can make it to the final boss
Last time, the Onbu Laxatives were to give to Onbu if he accidentally ate Tasty-Looking Stones, but the problem is that its stomach would always rumble too quickly and make your buildings fall down first anyway. I don't actually know how much decoration Mansions need but I am somewhat surprised that a Survival Monument and a Wondertree isn't enough.
I’ve switched over to the experimental version now, not sure the save file will still be viable. But going to do an experimental run this summer as well as a hostility modifier run. But we should definitely do a run soon with having the bigger housing and such! 💛💛💛💛
@@EveyGreenbottle I could easily sink so many hours into this game and am so thankful to play vicariously through you, so I'd watch any version of the game that interests you most!!!
@@EveyGreenbottle The modifiers are great, although the sparse wood option is BRUTAL. Seeing as berries carry me through Veteran+, (at >2k berry muesli!), a no-berry start would be a great challenge. Likewise the increased needs one (50% faster and +4 final needs amount) was the best kind of tough and rewarding! Look forward to experimental!
@@DasK.48 In the experimental version 3 berries no longer make 5 berry muesli! Eeek! I've recorded the first episode of the experimental stuff so keep an eye out! Our modifier challenge will start after as with it, other saves are at risk. Thank you so much! <3
I'm loving this series so far, it looks like a really fun game. Also for attack strategies, do you think picking off a single ship from afar or luring one ship at a time would work? I Haven't played so not sure how the combat and AI work.
It’s a super fun game! Sometimes picking them off works, if they are far enough apart. But the controls for the boats aren’t great, it’s quite easy to click off the selected ships and positioning can be hard to micromanage. I’m loving it tho! Thanks for watching 💛💛
Well, that's one way to make the desert more... interesting! (Given that there's no poison and wheat will grow if there isn't a heatwave, they are somewhat of a safe choice, except in certain challenge modes.) You mentioned the Berry Macarons but I forgot to look to see how the Food Quality is doing. (It seems it was at +4 a quarter of the way though the video but I don't know how that compares.) I don't actually remember the Panacea being a separate unlock.
We pushed for the panacea unlock early because I remember how harsh the things in the jungle were when Onbu got a high temperature and then nothing would grow. Didn’t get food quality to max, but I imagine it is because I am still allowing villagers to eat raw foods. If they were disabled food variety might lower but quality higher. Not sure. Thanks for watching 💛💛
Actually a good suggestion! But, full disclosure - I've already recorded the finale for this! We are going to be looking at the experimental version in an upcoming version and also doing a hostility modifier challenge this Summer. Thanks for watching 💛💛💛
@@EveyGreenbottle Oooh, is this the one with the reworked research functionality? Can't wait! Thanks to some tips I've seen on your channel I'm finally stable on a Veteran+modifier run-through!
Glad I can be of some help!! Yes, new research and resource gathering. It feels all quite new. Did a little run through of it today on my Twitch channel. Thanks for watching 💛💛
Oh wow! Someone else with similar (non) luck at the fair?! I gave up entirely on that spin game! For those people who do have luck, it's indeed the fastest and easiest way to obtain the tokens. Ohh well. Anyway, fishing happens to be the one thing I do to get those tokens (besides always crushing Pierre at the display)
I couldn’t believe it! I’ve never had this bad luck at the fair!! Usually get enough points with a few rounds of fishing, a few rounds of the target game, crushing Pierre, and a few good spins to get all the items being sold. It’s usually Green. But with the newest update, I wondered if the balance had been changed, but everything I’ve read says it should still be the same, favouring Green. I am sorry for your bad luck as well. But crushing Pierre is a win 🏆 Thanks for watching 💛 Once we get the Community Center completed I am going to switch this to a live stream series and multistream on YT and Twitch. 💛

I actually found your channel from your Stacklands videos! So cool to see you play another game from the same dev
As I recall, Onbu got tired in the ocean because he wouldn't go to sleep on the beach. I don't know all of the new UI either so it's nice when you show it off. Such as that food management screen - as you do seem to have plenty of beets and simple meals, maybe you should turn off all raw food and switch more beet farms over to tomatoes? I'm sure I mentioned the worker management screen before though. If you have too many workers then you probably don't need to micromanage your workplaces according to the current biome, although sometimes you do want to turn off buildings if they're competing for scarce resources. Those were some nice (and this time colourful!) fireworks although maybe it would have been better to save that for the series finale? (What effect does the celebration have on villagers' happiness?)
Oh yea! The beach that was already counting as ocean! Silly Onbu. I didn’t consider saving the fireworks for the finale, but we are just a few episodes away from that! Yes, I think I’ve looked at the Worker Management screen before but then decided I preferred looking at buildings specifically. It the food management screen is a good one. I often forget to click on everything to check stuff out. I need to work on that for sure! Thanks for watching as always 💛💛💛💛💛
@@EveyGreenbottle The impression I get is that it looks like you're hunting around for a suitable building to "steal" workers from instead of having them in a nice handy list which you can quickly scan through, but if you prefer that way, then fair enough.
Yea, it’s been a while since the demo first came out and we gave it its first go around. But now there is so much new! Might do a few more runs to check out all the new characters 💛💛💛
In SteamWorld Build you can game house upgrades by simply moving the house to an area where it can get all of the amenities it needs, upgrading it, then moving it to the next area, and so on. I'm going to guess that the long edge of the shape on the map corresponds to the top of the screen.
Hmmm I wonder if that same mechanism will work here… may have to try it 😂 The map confuses me massively - boats coming from sides of it that I’m super not expecting. Thanks for watching 💛💛💛
I used to live stream Stardew every week, taking a break from it at the moment. But you can follow me on Twitch Twitch.tv/EveyGreenbottle - my schedule for livestreams is kept up to date there or you can find links for my discord or Twitter where I also post my schedule every Sunday. 💛💛
I’ve decided, once we reach the Community Center completion, this run will continue as a Live Stream series and I’ll multi stream to YT and Twitch - you can watch it in the same playlist then, or however you prefer 💛
