We are recent empty nesters that love to go on adventures. We enjoy camping in our tiny Runaway camper and our Ember Overland 201FBQ travel trailer, boating on the water with our Gheenoe LT25, primitive camping, hiking and paddle boarding. Our dog, Skylar, loves to join us as much as possible too. We are based in Florida so we are having fun exploring our state and the southeast. We hope to encourage more people to get outside and have a Glorious Day of their own!

I just bought an IBEX 20bhs and the maintenance guys and the RV dealer mentioned to never just exchange those propane tanks, get them filled. According to them it was a much more expensive premium tank. Whatever that means, I almost forgot until you mentioned exchanging them anywhere.
@chrismktgpsu
@chrismktgpsu 24 дня назад
They are not "premium tanks". They just want you to buy their propane because then they make money vs exchange places. I've seen exchanges as cheap as $18 which is somewhat comparable to a tank refill in my area with MUCH less time and hassle.
@GloriousDayAdventures
@GloriousDayAdventures 13 дней назад
Sometimes finding a place to get them filled isn't easy when you are traveling though but there are many places to exchange them.

Great video! We have inflatable paddle boards for our kids and would love to get some for adults too, so we can throw everything in the car if we don’t want to fuss with putting our kayaks on the top. That pump looks nice! Ours can only use the 12v outlet, so we’ll look into one like that when we get more inflatables so we can have 2 pumps going at the same time. Where did you guys launch from? We’ve only paddled in the springs/rivers so far in Weeki Wachee and Crystal River, but I’d like to try the gulf some time. I’ve considered launching from Bayport, but my wife’s worried about bull sharks.
@GloriousDayAdventures
@GloriousDayAdventures 13 дней назад
Bayport is actually where we launched from for this video. It was the first time launching from there. I was worried about crossing the channel but it wasn't too bad. Bayport has a nice kayak launch, separate from the boat area. We didn't see any sharks but now you will have me looking for them! :)

@Birdman566 13 дней назад

You’re very organized and I agree that good prep makes all the difference but for campers you have very little concern for the amount of plastic you are using once and then throwing away! Haven’t you heard about reduce, re-use and recycle? Really bad ideas! You have a lack of respect for the environment you are camping and living in.
