When I first discovered you, I was happy to find a really light and pleasant, science-fiction experience. The more I listen to you, the more I realize what a formidable intellect you have! You dive really deep into some heady stuff. I really enjoy your perspective.
Cheers, Observer! That's one of my favorite aspects of sci-fi. It can be fun and light and escapist and then turn and drop the deepest themes imaginable. I'm glad you seem to be enjoying both too 😃🙏
So I was thinking after your last video that (if you found it easier) you could just release your RU-vid and podcast at the same time and forget about trying to force RU-vid to do something…. (We all know how RU-vid feels about being helpful)
Thanks, Keith! That was how it was set up at first, and releasing two identical videos simultaneously is like kryptonite to the algorithm, splits the views in two and ensures that both videos underperform, creating a new, lower baseline. Essentially that's what the RU-vid Podcast has done to the channel anyway (as far as I can tell). Now I just have to build that baseline back up again. Tally-ho 🚀🚀🚀

Ps. Had to endure the paucity by reading Greg bears eon again, and the scope of your parallel existences available thru the artefacts with the assurance that death is merely the means to return to ‘real space time’ is wider in my humble opinion, you have created the never ending story.

@@RoweLit my problem to progress is once I open the gate to one idea it grows tentacles that reach out and grab a dozen more in a split second….and it’s not possible to write that fast. Great news that you are knocking some episodes into shape for a visual series….i won’t use tv or film to give it a name because heritage media for storytelling has its days numbered. Years ago at film school I wanted my film to be projected on multiple screens, each screen showing the same scenes from different angles, I figured that the narrative for each viewing would change in the viewers mind according to the order of sequencing their eyes followed….i was reading Sergei Eisenstein at the time, one page a day! Dense. So in this non linear digital world we now inhabit it might be interesting to play with method and form… the way you covered the shoot out in the mall anyways I look forward to it

I have no intention of going anywhere till they throw me off the platform 😃 All of my favorite poets eventually got exiled, so I'm hoping that someday I'll be worthy of that honor as well 😂 Seriously, though, I hate to grumble about YT and I have no intention of leaving. I love that I get to share my work here with so many people all over the world (and I would love it if the podcast feature worked in the channel's favor nearly as well, but it hasn't worked out that way, unfortunately). For all it's many faults, RU-vid is seriously one of the most amazing technical advancements of my lifetime. Pardon me, though, my car has a broken shock that needs replacing, and I think I'll listen to Bach on lute, a neurology lecture, and some stand-up comedy from the 80s while I do that. This place is amazing!
I remember your comments from way early in the channel, but I started by uploading a bunch of stories (maybe 20) that I'd written beforehand, and I think you're finding some of those early uploads. There's some good ones in that early bunch, imho.

I have gotten so involved in this universe of yours that it sometimes permeates into my dreams so deeply that I awake not quite knowing which world I am living in for real.. but that doesn't last long. Each story is so full of excitement, fear and love that I have to listen through again to fully comprehend the subtleties that is intertwined in each episode. Thank you for all your wonderful work..
The stories would adapt well to live action cinema but it would take an equal creative talent to cast it and hold it true to the source material. Until then, I really enjoy the current format.
