That rsx seem kinda slow. I’ve had I/H/E and race a bolt on tuned LSV integra & beat it, but it wasn’t gutted ofc. they were some good close races tho.
B18B block, GSR/B16/ITR head, longer crank throw than a B18C, a little more torque - especially if you bump the compression a little with some pistons.
@@bagfumbler maybe an 02-04, but the facelift one with the shorter tranny I'd expected to pull harder. Impressive for a stock bottom LSV and some long ass gears too.
@@k20kenn54 i got more vids of that day of the b16 but that alone pull where I did that burnout run ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ the go pro was a very decent pull ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Something was wrong with that tranny 2-3 weren’t grinding but it was hard to get them into gear just on those 2 gears the rest is fine he had a b16b tranny blew it up and went full gsr check it out on
@@pedrodiaz6739 I know what you mean , try replacing your cmc , your slave cylinder , readjust your clutch pedal & bleeding your clutch pedal out. I did it and now mine shifts with ease but eventually I’ll replace mine with a Wilwood
Yeah sounds about right. They all cap at about 190 with gsr cams and stock bottom end. Definitely my next ulgrade unless i go with a turbo. Getting a snake chip installed in my ecu next week and then taking mine for the dyno to the same guy installing my chip. My setup is a high comp b20b 96 type r head with dual valve springs, gsr cams, skunk 2 intake that everyone has, 70mm throttle body, 3 inch homemade CAI out of a charge pipe from a ford 7.3 powerstroke diesel and a k&n filter, 345lph fuel pump, 550cc injectors, fuel rail, 4-2-1 header and a 2.5inch full exhaust. Has a lightweight flywheel and 6 puck clutch as well. Just a cheapy clutch.
Howsit... guy...it will help the viewers if mention which car ( camera view ) is the ek with b20 and which is k24... I mean... If I look at rims... looks like the ek that pulled ahead is the kswap.. Correct?
I know that GSR has potential & has a healthy motor , my basic bolt on jdm GSR b18c pulls on type r s all day. I raced a 05 rsx type with intake & headers & my 3rd gear pulled him hard since I have a b16 transmission with a 8.7LB flywheel
