Good to see you out and about again Iain. I enjoyed the drone footage. The Dinorwic Quarry is a place i have been trying to get to and hopefully will do. You captured some really nice image's as usual bud. Catch you on the next one.
Lovely footage and shots from Dinorwig quarry, up the pass. Llyn Padarn almost full, first time ive seen the old bench submerged so much. Thanks for making the vid, (Typo, it's Rhyd- Ddu)
Great to see you out and about again. Great moody conditions with the clag all around. It's a place i have been meaning to visit for years. You captured some fantastic image's. Look forward to seeing the next one.
A great presentation, I particularly like the b/w's in it. You have captured the scene and the mood beautifully. I appreciate that fact that you didn't spend a lot of time talking about lenses, camera ssetting etc. A pleasant change sticking to the subjects and photography.
Thank you I too am tired of videos of 7 tips for this, pros do this, why your photography sucks. I don't think it's what people want to hear I certainly don't so I am trying to keep my videos simple and really just show off the place I am in and the images I made. I appreciate you watching.
Well well well. You’d think that sometime during that 10mins I was speaking to you (day one of your video) you’d have mentioned you have a RU-vid channel (I thought I recognised you). Which would have been and is a huge coincidence because I’m only subscribed to about 8 landscape photography channels, and yours was one of them. Great photos! Keep up the good work!
Ahh the man on the mountain! I don't like just saying I'm on RU-vid when I meet someone out and about. Not everyone gives a shhh. Thanks for subscribing I appreciate that. Did you see yourself in the Chapel on the drone footage?
I think I'm too obscured by fog or my phone screen is too small haha. Yeah I know saying you're on YT could be tacky 😅. Anyway, I was subscribed because you don't have an overbearing amount of talking head, I like your black and white style, and most importantly, you actually show photographs (most might talk for 10mins then grace us with a single photo which they then pan and zoom around without showing the whole composition).anyway, I had an awesome shoot that day. The place was incredible
Enjoyed the video as usual Iain. Really nice conditions with the sky. The foam from the waves at the edge definitely look good and worth taking an image. The long exposure with the jagged rocks were absolutely brilliant. Look forward to the next one.
Just had one of your videos recommended Iain. I must say it’s great to see someone else’s perspective on a area I know and love so well, also in black and white witch is also a passion of mine. Some great images of some familiar places I have visited many times. Will definitely be popping back to see more of your adventures on Dartmoor.
Very beautiful set of images, you understand Black and White very well. Often Photographers don't get the middle grey zones quite right but these are spot on!
Another great video Iain. That was definitely a long walk. As you say Dartmoor is on our doorstep and i must get there more often. Great image's as usual.
Hi Iain, You certainly had great conditions that day. You captured some fantastic image's and to quite honest i couldn't pick a favourite. Look forward to the next one.
Gorgeous images. I loved all the island beech trees, the lion's roar and the water with the fence in the background was quite stunning. Lovely place to visit on such a day!
Lovely atmospheric images. The beech trees on the "walled island" - what a fantastic location. Have been to Nun"s Cross farm many times but have never explored the disused workings at Whiteworks. On my list of places to. visit now.
Cheers, this is Sean in Atlanta. I am still watching this incredible video and I have to ask you if you found out what this place is? It looks to me to be some sort of magical, or sacred site. Even the mounds make me think that. I just discovered your channel and immediately subscribed. I’m gonna check out your other videos over the holiday weekend. Stunning images! Even the music is perfect! Sean
This location is right next to Dartmoor prison built in 1806 to house prisoners of war from the napoleonic war. There is an area of land next to the prison that has 2 mass graves where these prisoners were buried with no ceremony or grave marking. It could possibly have something to do with that 🤔
Those woods are way too busy to ever be photogenic... Well, if you've watched that show, you already know what those woods are good for.🤓@@i.moutdoors2596
Good effort in those conditions. Been there a couple of times myself in stormy weather, definitely a challenge. Neil makes it look so easy :) Really liked your images especially of the rocks in the waves.
Definitely a hell of a storm Iain. Fair play for taking the time to do the video. You captured some really nice long exposure image's. Look forward to the next one.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video with the unfortunate injury that you have sustained. Don't know if that was Haldon or not. You captured some really nice image's as usual. I haven't been out due to the horrendous weather we are having. All the best and take care.
@@i.moutdoors2596 I know what you mean it's massive. I was hoping to go there for Autumn photography but as you know the weather is horrendous. ATB. Tim..
