See If You Can Find Me One Of These Because I Used To Have One Same Exact Fan I Got Rid Of It For No Reason At All So Find Me One Of These With Cane And Stencil Blades
See, I'm referring to how the 1970s and early 1980s in general were a rather rough time, as crime was rather high; so, people would outfit their houses with metal doors.....painted to look wooden... hence, malaise.
Also some earlier K55 and even some 4 blade version used fake wood blades, and they used fiberglass blades even in 1981, so it seems to first be random which motor and which blades until around 1981 since you have 1981 K63. Though 4 blade Heat Fan always use K63 motor, and K63 Heat Fan with 3 blades always use fiberglass blades from what I saw.
My 4E-3LW does that, but it doesn't need to be broken in i think it's just junk. Takes for ever to get up to speed on low, it has a random Lutron 3 speed control and not the original.
Seems like medium is slower than high but just a tiny bit. Also there is a large difference between high speed and 15uf capacitor, if this motor used 9uf or 10uf capacitor. So I'm pretty sure it wouldn't burn out the motor on medium with this receiver, it's simply lower capacitor than what the motor is made for, just for being 36" instead of 52".
Well this particular fan only hums too much which it’s supposed to be quiet to run however they don’t have any material to make it quite because. It’s somewhat cheap ish.
Is this worth money? Im trying to get mine off a giant eye hook thats screwed in the stud. I had no idea it was that old, lol! My blades are off-white.
