Worship Central is a movement of worshippers who want to see the worship of Jesus Christ made central throughout our communities, local churches and the world. In Canada we have activity and worship leaders hubs across the provinces. Please email us or visit our official global website for more info! Links are below.
When you read what appears to be a contradiction or something which does not sound right -- in my experience there is a gold nugget for the mind when understanding is reached. There are some difficult things to understand in the bible, (the Lord said so himself), but if we accept the bible is truthful and that God is a benevolent God interested in our welfare, those difficult things are delights awaiting our discovery.
I am so happy from there is so beautiful worship song singing our sister and brother thanks so much i am always watching worship song. Amen Jesus christ name. ❤️🙏👍
In season and out of season…in what ways has the church misinterpreted, misunderstood or misrepresented that…WOW. That’s a major question we must repent for and get right, for the times ahead…
Thanks to Brooke and Darrell and glory to triune God :-). So wonderful to be invited and enabled to sit with you as you commune with God and one another. This reminds me of the Rublev icon of the Trinity, in which there was (once) a small mirror that reflected the visage of the human witness standing in God's presence. And of the love that overflows the Great Cloud of witnesses, the body of Christ, of which this is a wonderful wisp. Love to watch as Brooke and Darrell reflect and speak - Brooke looks to the side, which often corresponds to listening to an inward voice - the sound and music of Truth; and Darrell tends to look up, which often corresponds to searching one's mind for the most appropriate language and images - seeing how to respond. Truly both are attending to the Spirit as they honor God and one another. How beautiful is the body of Christ....

Thank you so much for this lovely Spirit-filled chat, and for making it accessible here! As a Regent College fan, I love what you all had to say about theology and teaching (21:05), and it reminds me of what I’ve heard recently from NT Wright regarding theology as a life-giving, “load-bearing” exercise of the people of reconciliation. I agree that doing theology well can truly bring our communities ever so deeply into worship! And, in my opinion, this Is true particularly if: a) that theology is done in community, in committed, discipling relationships--so that it becomes transformative; and b) that theology done in community continually calls for communal action in response-so that the transformative nature of our theology spills over into our neighbourhoods and cities in action. “Come join!" indeed!
Did anyone catch which Puritan’s Prayer Brooke read in her closing prayer? Unfortunately this recording cuts out before the closing prayer. Thanks in advance!
Among hillsong singers Gad Gillies he is my favourite ,i really love to hear your voice like in Man of sorrow Remembrance To know your name And many others be blessed verry much. Am happy to know you
@@joshuaedo07 for sure that has truth to it i agree and disagree :) , i agree a worship leader should be leading people into a place they are already 100% and should be sowing into that gift to lead well, but i also believe a person who is not keen to worship is not going to be led into worship by anyone, in defiance; perhaps why so many skip worship and arrive for the word , worship is giving reverence to God, it's a giving of ourselves in praise to him, i believe there are many ways to worship outside of just music, thus we lead our own lives of worship to God first and foremost. Have a blessed one bro.
It's not about performance, but you don't want to do things that distract people. Some people have habits that are naturally distracting. It does actually draw attention to yourself. God isn't bothered, but people find it unhelpful. Humility says, "I want to serve these people well, and therefore I won't do these things if they get in the way of people connecting with God." It's possible to serve with excellence and be authentic at the same time.
Hey Christy ... so appreciate your heart for God and your witness in this video for JESUS. He has so blessed you and the Passion Team w/ incredible worship gifts and those gifts have truly spilled over to the Body of Christ all over our world in these Last Days. To the praise and glory of our God! .... thank you Christy and to you and your husband for "staying the course" as true "disciples of Jesus" .. in these challenging days. May our great God bless you and your family, your children and your continued worship ministry. In Him!

I get it. As someone who leads worship in a southern Baptist church, I want us all to be more demonstrative in worship. However, as worship leaders, are we falling into a trap of feeling that we must look and act a certain way for our service to be effective/validated? How do we balance this? Just food for thought.
Hi Wesley, thanks for your insight - this is definitely something we all struggle with as worship leaders, and we value your perspective from the context of your own church! You've asked some great questions, and while there are many answers to this, one thought is that our outward posture is actually a response or an effect of our inward worship - when we worship inwardly, it naturally translates into the way we look on stage outwardly, and therefore enable the congregation to enter into worship a little more freely. That being said, this training session was from a practical perspective and meant to equip those who might not be used to being at the front of their church or leading a congregation in worship where it can be initially intimidating and difficult to express worship outwardly, but the intended overarching message is what Andrea touched on in the first few seconds, for our inward and outward experiences of worship to be aligned. Hopefully that helps!
