This is really cool that I can take this trip.. with a crash landing that didn’t hurt me.. hope didnt’ hurt the ship… take this trip sitting here knitting while looking over the countryside… would love to know what area I’m watching.. as I see no landmarks that i recognize.. good job!! Has to be lots of fun!! Nice of you to post these videos! I think you’re having more fun than ost kids.. 😉
@@suzannroberts6745 This from Milan, MI just east of US-23, not too far from the Federal Prison. When I circle around over the landing strip you can see the prison in the insert (FPV)
Unfortunately a mole made a mess out of the runway and on the second take-off my front gear caught a mole hole and flipped the plane and broke the prop.
Plane make: Freewing Plane model: Pandora 1400mm Available through Motion RC for $230 Camera : Mobius 1 <$70 The Pandora (as I have mine) flies like a dream on 4S 2200mAh / 7.5 min flight time. The Pandora can be configured as a Low-Wing (sport) or High-Wing (trainer) and as a Tail Dragger or Tricycle landing gear. The plane comes with two different cockpits and both types of Landing Gear. Very Solidly Built plane!
I started to notice a little bit trim was needed after the touch & go, she felt like I had to use pressure on the stick to keep it level. A couple clicks and she straighten right out. She started flying like she’s able! Rolls, Half Cuban 8s and an Immelmann.
@@matthewrinear5424 Has its own power, you’ll need a 128gb micro SD card. A little bit of Velcro and you are ready. Comes with free software to set camera profile and update firmware. It doesn’t do 4k but I’m not Cecil B DeMille … these are flight videos viewed by a select few!
I spent 25 minutes bushwhacking my way thru to recover my plane. And luckily there was very minimal damage … just a little glue and some fiberglass reinforced tape and she’s ready for flight!
This was actually the last flight of the morning for me and I remembered that my wife said she was impressed with up keep of the field and how well groomed it was! So in this I wanted her to get a good look at the field.😊
In this one, I fly a bit more adventurous with a double-roll and a little bit of inverted flight and an outside-loop, plus my personal favorite an Immelmann and touch-and-go.
Just before I land, I save the plane, but almost rip the wings off, I turned too sharp to line up with the runway, I went into a tip-stall and lost all lift, so, I turned it into a snap roll, WAY too close to the ground and saved the plane from a bad crash! But almost ripped the wings off, watch the wings …😂😂😂
Mark, this is a wonderful video of you, your dad and, everyone else. It really tells a lot! He looks very good….doing the best living he possibly can. Looks Iike a really nice home where he’s living ….. you do a great job with your videos. And, editing…. You get an A+. Thanks for posting this. I bet your dad got a big kick out of watching this. @@markdeprest527 ahh, similar terrain as to out here. When I was younger I looked into building model planes but ended up going the flight sim route. I built mine after a b737, it was amazing how many parts I could find. I still need to get an overhead panel but it was so fun to fly. I had a computer hard drive fail and decided to just get a new computer but the new windows doesn't run my flight sim x software and the new MSFS isn't compatible with most of my hardware. When I get some time I will try the stream version as I hear that can still work
@@Schoolforthesoul That's awesome! I hope you get it going again. I've been into the flightsims for years now including FSX and the ones before it. The new stuff and using with VR headsets is absolutely awesome.. I have a few videos over on my channel. Take care!
The FT Easy Orbit flies like a dream and the FT Easy ME is a slow flying, slow turning plane that takes a lot more control work to keep control, the FT East Hornet flys fast and climbs quickly.
The second flight from the end is a 6 minute 20 second flight, showing off flight characteristics of what Burt Rutan had in mind when he designed the Long EZ! They just fly SWEET!
Ellie Mae needs a ‘mate’ or a play-mate! The decorations are so nice in the woods. Really enjoy your sight-seeing walk, Mark! Extra good sense of humor with the yard decor... thanks.... looking forward to your next venture!
