Sorry for missing the show today, but thanks to you and to the panel for being level headed with the ratings and stuff. You guys are the best when it comes to balancing the support and the critique. I've watched Kwasi's 3 hours ago (while eating my late dinner) with his panel and I was about to lose it, simply because the agendas sometimes never go away, especially after giving him a long opinion the other day on how he or his guests become too negative without looking at the bigger picture... Anyhow keep up the good work as always.

Big up 12th. Tough weekend for the 'Pool. Very frustrating and disappointing performance and result. I was surprised at the starting line up, as I was expecting a few changes, considering we have to play in Milan on Tuesday. I personally think Endo would have been a good choice for the Forest game as he is the most physical midfielder we have and isn't afraid to put in a rough challenge and take a card for the team, if necessary. Might not have been possible for Endo to start with the travelling to Asia, but Slot mentioned how everyone seemed fit for the match. I would say it's a mix of Slot's tactics and the players underperforming. I hope Slot and the players can work out how to break down a low block with patient, accurate passing. It was a collective failure, so everyone has to hold the L and move on, quickly. I'm looking forward to seeing how we line up for the Milan match tomorrow. Still have confidence in the gaffer and the boys. Lessons to learn and we move! Up the Reds! YNWA
@@Red4Life1892 i emphasized this on the show and tbh I was disappointed in Slot’s lineup choices. Not that I don’t rate the starting Xi, quite the opposite but if there was ever a game to conduct a stress test on our squad depth it’s at home against a bottom table team. To go even further against low block teams tactically they are going to bully you and take liberties with fouls. Seeing one of our star players that had an injury scare with his international team on the ground FOUR times in the 1st 20 min is poor man management. He said he took him off early because of managing his minutes. Well if that’s the plan then have him play the final 20-30 to keep him match ready. Now it’s a short turnaround to take on arguably our most difficult away game in CL and then back to England again short turnaround and even worse on the road. None of those games in my opinion are optimal fixtures to experiment. But also like you said, what’s done is done. The most we can hope for is they’ll be well rested and drilled for two important matches to reestablish our form.
@liverpool12thman - hard to understand the mind of Slot in terms of the team selection, but maybe he was naive regarding Forest and overestimated our fitness levels and underestimated Forests ability to play their game. Very interested in tomorrow's game and hoping for a solid performance, implementing Slot's tactics. Up the Reds!
Darwin is generally a better overall player than the other strikers you’ve mentioned aside from Haaland, but he was just unlucky with his shots, even Klopp and Salah said the same about him. I think Darwin is usually high on adrenaline and he needs to relax a little in the box or around the box, but his movements off the ball and on the ball are characteristics of top quality player IMHO… I just hope he’d prove many of his critics wrong once Slot works a little on his confidence.
@@Trap-Joe I think that Darwin, if all strikers in Premier League were thrown into a pool to draft from, would see him taken within the first five and certainly first 10 picks.

Sad to see Kelleher leave but he deserves the minutes. As for Salah, VVD and Trent, I hope they’d get 3 years minimum each, at lease 2+1 for each, and definitely I wanna see them in the Adidas kit. I think Mo and Virgil will get their priority contract extensions done very soon; within the next two months, definitely before Jan. The boys need to settle mentally and emotionally before the season gets very busy and heated.
Listing half way through: Despite not picking up question "C" out of the two "hard" questions, my answers are: a) Gerrard all the way over Hendo, easily. b) Salah over Barens (I missed many of his games when I was a little kid), and even when Bares was a more rounded player and probably was even more skillful for his time. Salah just isn't your normal great player, he's a different bread with a rare mentality IMHO... But I do love both as players and their great personalities off the pitch. Kudous to the panel for even mentioning me in this stream, I'm humbled even if it was a cute joke! LOL
I think the CL draw is doable especially the at home games. Some tough ones in the there for sure, RM is the ultimate challenge no doubt considering the new added players in their squad now! If we can just take those SOB’s out of the way with a win, we could be cruising in the there so long as we keep fit during the season.

I just wanna say in regards to that friday heated show, I agree with 12th Man in a sense that singing any random players to just to fulfill the fan's egos isn't like buying a product from Amazon and wanna return it if Slot doesn't like it or if the product is half damaged and whatnot! People just fight over "mostly nonsense" because they don't know most of the facts about a deal and its operations other what they see online from stats and footage. Everything counts when signing someones, his history, his ethical and physical sports backgrounds, his commitment, salary, willingness to move to a new place and adapt to a new culture/town/weather etc, and on top of all that, how he'll mix with the squad and if there is any jiving chemistry, or language barriers, and how will mix the coaches or their styles. For God's sake even "Lionel Messi" has had a hard time with PSG and their management, the fans, and the accommodations his family had to go through! He said it was like a nightmare to him! And BTW half of PSG's main squad where also close friends to Messi at that time, from either Barca, or his national team! I understand it's very frustrating for the fans to see a big club like Liverpool doesn't operate with the signing windows like any big club should, but that doesn't mean automatically they'd know any better than what the pros already know themselves! So, that's why I usually take a lot of those mixed hot headed opinions a with a pound of salt! ;-b BTW, I didn't know that you were a hot headed gentleman either seeing how calm you usually are during your own streams!... I agree with you about Zubimendi... I know money is important for most players these days much like their employers, but it shouldn't be the main motivation in any sport. LFC is an iconic club and should be an honor to join in and prove yourself to be worthy.
@Trap-Joe I am split on feeling sorry for him. Like I respect that he was loyal to his boyhood club but at the same time by going back on his promise to come to Liverpool the fact that Real Sociedad is making a mess of extending his contract is somewhat poetic. Would you accept him on the team if he did another 180 considering his circumstances?

@@liverpool12thman I honestly don’t have much opinion about how Slot is about to go with his squad especially in the midfield, but I believe he’s a very sharp coach first and foremost, and the managerial part is probably secondary to him and he’d grow in it with time. I however still need to see more from him to get an idea on how he does business! All in all I was impressed with him during the preseason. Can’t wait for the Saturday’s game even though I hate waking up at 4 am unless I’m working! lol

Probably he wants guaranteed minutes before joining?! I mean even the illustrious Thiago left Barca the club he loves so much just because he wasn’t getting enough minutes, and he said that in an interview not too long ago! Liverpool 12th Man, I had my little fun with you guys while it lasted. I was only trying to bring some smiles for your chat box to keep things lighthearted around, but when I get "accused" out of a sudden (and out of the blue) by T-I-M of disrespecting some of you based on some "out of context" dumb humor, here where I draw the line... I work from home as an industrial engineer with some really convoluted hours, and Ive only joined your channel because the content is usually better than some other LFC fan channels out there even though it's a little too monotonous for me, and that's why I chose the sporadic bad joke rout. That said, if my approach was a little "too much" for your guests,, I think I better step out. Just keep rocking with your optimism whenever you can, because football entertainment should be simply that; entertaining and positive despite the mishaps from our club, and the constant negativity that keeps pouring out from the content creators and their followers. Agreed. We do our best to emphasize the fact that there are three different parties in this decision. Liverpool, Real Sociedad and the player. Liverpool did there due diligence in making sure the player was interested otherwise it would have never gotten to this stage and a simple, "NO thank you, not interested." like he said to the other clubs i.e. ARS who could activate the release clause just like us. This is down to a 25 year-old young man with his foot half way out the door being charmed by the only club he's really only known, Real Sociedad, to stay in my humble opinion before leaving the nest.
Terminator Alexander Arnold can go for 2-3 years to grab some money and grow, so long as he says: “I’ll be back!” to finish his career at LFC. The thing is, who’s the next RB in line at his level?
Here is a brief quote that I've shared on yesterday's game at the official LFC channel: "I’d have preferred seeing Salah playing the number 10 inverted to 11, while letting Szobo doing the right wing running. And while we’ve maintained dominance through out, it was too congested in the midfield. Trey Nyoni was brilliant breaking the defensive lines, he has a good future ahead. Overall it was a good start and Slot is conciouncicus of what he's doing, I think he's the real deal. " One more thing to add, Slot and Barnes did mention the use of "the TWO 10's" as a strategy, just because of the absence of a dedicated striker upfront in that game like Nunez, Gakpo or Jota.

Debate is tough when we mix in the emotion of the moment. Every player, our best or even our favorites have bad games. Macca is one of both for me and in my opinion Monday was that bad game for him. These players are better than what they've shown this last month or so and that is as frustrating as the reality of the dropped points. Biottom line, appreciate the support from our fellow Reds. Whether you agree with our points or not your contribution and participation is valued and important. So looking forward to seeing you on the next broadcast.

I didn't give my picks or breakdowns. Only the Mighty Reds Army got this round in. Let me know what you would have done differently though. We gave whatever their market value on TM as the price unless they had a recorded release clause and then in top of that gave 130m to the war chest.
My main concern with this club has been the availability of its key players. I rate Konate on his talent (albeit he let nw down against Everton) but overall I'd like to see us get a CB that can log the kind of minutes VVD does and create a solid if not telepathic bond of CB pairing. Therefore despite me rating Jota I can understand your selling of him. A major difference of reliance between Jota and Konate however in my opinion is the emphasis of minutes I would expect or require from the two.
@@liverpool12thman We can get CB, because Matip is done, Sepp might as well be sold, We can keep Konate and get another CB. as for Jota, he is always injured when we need him the most, i feel Nunez can be a squad player if we get a new striker who is reliable .
