Curious, I've watched several of these videos, and none recommend pulling dipstick out, and removing oil filler cap to promote free flow of oil drainage. Is this not a good idea? I just bought a boat with this motor, and plan on doing my own 20 hour service. Thanks for your great footage.
Great observation sir and valid...but with yamaha engines you do not have to perform that, they have a crank case ventilation system that allows crank pssr relief.

I actually went there this past October. My son Paul carried his 30 Sportsman and I was on my 21 Sea Hunt. We anchored out but couldn't find it. But there was a commercial dive boat that came up and told us where it was, We moved about 200ft and anchored again, then we were within 50 ft from it, PERFECT!!!! We all felt a spiritual connection as we dove down and touched his hands. This is certainly a must do, thanks so much for reminding us how special or day was.
