Ovi's contract may seem large but it's over 13 years... That's around 9.5 million a year... Top players like McDavid can get upwards of twice that in a year these days! This is why real long term contracts- like these- cuts both ways and have real diminishing returns, for the player, over time as inflation destroys the original value of the contract... So i'm for the new contract cap for long term deals which stops teams from having to make buyouts, and prevents players from under estimating- and excluding themselves from- future market returns...
It's sort of ridiculous how people are complaining about the new Utah team playing in the Delta Center next year when it's far from the worst or weirdest stadium for NHL hockey. Like a lot of examples from this video, it's also probably only going to be their home for a few years until a new arena is built.
With the format they're using for the Madrid open they deserve to go bankrupt. Taking up 40% of the screen with junk other than the match. Why would I care about showing the commentators in such a large portion of the screen. Are they going to do something spectacular that I need to see? All they do is comment on what I can already sort of see on the screen. Take them off and I could more easily see what the the players are doing.

I like some flavours, but I use the powder as opposed to the tetra packs, because the RTD version is only electrolytes. The powder has vitamins and aminos which is better for recovery.

I think Binnington will pull it together as a Blues fan who just saw him save 31 pucks from going last weekend. He us not perfect but who is, maybe dometimes reputations don't tell the ehole story. I grew up in the 1970s going to Blues games with my Dad, learned all about hockey. Take away all the entertainment part today and look at the game. Winning the cup fir the Blues was super exciting but i knew my Dad was smiling in heaven having waited so many years to see that. Why detract from their fantastic win. They have a hard season ahead, i say let's go 💙🏒
