Pros: The Tunisian singer is really good, and I like the timbre of their voice, and the person you got to do Kargyraa ain't no slouch either; well done. The Alghoza is a REALLY obscure and captivating instrument, and has possibly never been sampled/"instrumentized" before. Again well done Cons: Almost everything else has been done before in a myriad of single and collection instruments from a lot of developers over the last 10-12 years. The whole "ethnic instruments to add exotic flavo(u)r to your epic track" has kinda been played out for awhile and it seems this library is a bit late to the game within that particulat product market idea. Don't get me wrong, it's VERY well recorded (all your stuff is), and You guys at FA have a A LOT of really good stuff (Hello Dominus and Rinascimento), but this is kinda "meh" vis-a-vis stuff that covers the same ground that's been out for a long time. Assessment: If you're a Newb (yeah, I'm an old fart, and that's how we spelled it back in the day, so get off my lawn...😉) to sample libs, and want an all in one "ethnic" Kontakt library to cover a lot of ground for a great price, this is absolutely stunning. Seriously, get it. Fluffy Audio is a really great developer, and this library is absolutely awesome for the variety of instruments you get for the price. If This had come out 8-10 years ago, it would've saved me a lot of money! My critique is based on the timing of it, not of the quality. If you've already got any instruments by other developers that are in this collection, I would unfortunately skip it, though the Tunisian and Kargyraa vocals are really cool. It's not too much money for those vocals (and the female vocals as well, but they impressed me the least tbh; not bad, but again "meh" vis-a-vis other dedicated libs). Which is to say... C'mon Fluffy Audio Get the Tunisian dude to do a full session with more legatos, more range, and more phrases as a dedicated vocal lib! Maybe do the same with the Kargyraa guy? Just my 45 cents
Wow ❤ … I’m buying this product tomorrow!!! Sounds amazing 🤩… You can feel the texture of the instruments with your ears and is very affordable!!! … And very user friendly how is program 10 out of 10!!! ❤❤❤
will it strum any chords i make. you only demonstrated simple triads and i'm skeptical if it can make a diminished or 7th chords because there is a chord view window saying what each one is which makes me think perhaps it's limited?
And the most of the sounds are not only for creating spaghetti western. I'm creating music where my base are some kinds of uplifting trance and sounds like the sopranos, the vintage strings, the guitars and the reed are very usefull to fill your track, especially your "pauses", the intros, the utros!!! A very rich and usefull pack for every musician!!!
Hopefully Dominus Choir can have new update for new articulations. Like having Atonal Sustains, Atonal Marcato, Atonal Staccatos, Rises, Falls, Shouts, Screams, and most importantly, Body Percussion. Something that Clusters and Effects can be possible in the future.
The "Words Legato" is the coolest instrument for making amazing vocal melodies faster and without any effort, I really love it since it appeared in the Simple Opera Singer. 👍👍
Hey there. Have you thought of showcasing just single hits from this cool library? Also, how many RR in total for each dynamic layer? I'm very interested in hearing single hits of the really big taiko drum shown.
