Great job on the tiered maxi! I’m also starting to see because ive been inspired by some podcasts, I am following. I am primarily a knitter, but I’m starting with Sewing. I also did make clothing when I was in high school that I did actually wear, but that’s been 40 years ago! (I have a few years on you 😉) I am looking at a few in person as well as online classes to help me with some details. When I was younger, I didn’t care about the details, now I want my products to look more professional. I always enjoy seeing what youseeing what you have going, so thanks for the inspiration!

My favorite is the shine bobble sweater. It looks similar to the extremely popular bookclub cardigan. The only one I would have left out was the stash busting cardigan. I thought it was ugly and there are a lot better stash busting patterns with my personal favorite being the sea glass sweater by wool and pine. Thanks for drawing attention to some underrated patterns.❤🧶

Hehe Ggomjirag is a Korean word describing the sound and the form of the small hand movements that may look like knitting. Han Miran wrote so many knitting books and she is like a knitter guru in Korea! 😊

You showed a lot of lovely options. I'm definitely going to put a few in my favourites. Just a heads up on the word Aran. It's pronounced pretty much like the girls name Erin. The A is a long A sound and the accent or emphasis is on the "A", not the "ran" part of the word. So phonetically, I suppose it would be AIRun.

Nice ! Thanks for all these reco, I'll definitly knit a few ;) I actually knit the Semilla sweater by Sharins and it's beautiful and a very smart design. There're short row at the back and the pattern is written very clearly with a count of the stiches at the end of each step of the shaping to make sure you've done the right thing. I knit mine in a yak and silk wool blend and it's the most luxurius sweater I own. I recomand it 100% !

You should look up Kaffe Fassett. He is one of the most famous knitwear and quilt designers in the late 20 Century. He has written dozens of books. Definitely not a new or minor designer. PS: Aran is pronounced as Erin.

Thanks. I love a pattern roundup and learning new designers. In terms of quality of the Pickles patterns... they're deff written in a more Scandinavian way, so you have to know what you are doing. Also, the instructions they do provide in English are not the best. I would not recommend.

I actually love it when people have a sound for when they show a photo. Be it a “click” or a “pop”, doesn’t matter. Somehow it feels helpful. Maybe because a lot of the time I’m knitting while watching videos and a sound helps me know when to look up to see a visual.

Life is short don't stress over silly things. Save your stress for the big things. Having too much yarn is not worth the stress. Just make a pact not to buy any more till you work through it. I cleaned my side basket today. it was full of bunches of yarn cut pieces that I save to stuff into stuff when I am stuffing stuff...... I used to throw it away but now I save it and it was a mess!!! I gathered it all up and put it in a clothes zip lock bag. Then all the end-of-skein stragglers I put in another bag to tie together and when I have enough I'll make an ends and pieces afghan.
