Heya! I’ve been trying everything this video tells me and I’ve read through the comments. But when I get to the part where you go to “advance” and hit 0 4times, that doesn’t work. I’ve even tried holding volume up and that hasn’t worked either. The only thing that pops up is “WB Movie_3D” does anyone have any advice?
I know I've already commented but I'm so impressed by the quality of this track. It really is the best version of Life in the Mines I've ever listened to. Everything is perfect and well-tuned. Your VSTs are well chosen, your adaptation is top notch, the addition you composed is great and so is the mixing/mastering part! Very well done!
I cannot thank you enough for this... We got a UHD 7100 and I went through the wringer to get it hung, through the wall wiring and have it looking as good as possible. The dimming was SO detracting for me. I don't have the greatest eyesight and the dimming on dark scenes made the watching experience suck. New lease!
Anybody else having problem with Cal data restore? I dont have to click on "other settings" in SVC , Cal Data restore is just grayed out. Also if I just press Zero four times on "Advanced" in unlocks "Picture_2d" and "Picture_3d" but they are also both greyed out :(
samsung 65in tu690t anyone having issues with auto dimming on this set? i will try the steps mentioned. Anyone have success? i will try the volume up button for adv service menu since this set apparently is from 2022.
If I put all of them to 100 I can't change Backlight anymore, will this works if I put all values to 50 instead of 100? I tried it but there's still brightness changes when seeing dark movies.
@@NiftySquares I changed all values to 30 and there's still brightness changes in Dark scenes when volume up/down or bring up home menu, and when the background changes it's clear (without home/volume menus) I tried to disable Local dimming completely by set it to 0 instead of 1 in service menu and this did solve this problem completely, but there's one downside, you can't change brightness at all even with PWM or TV settings itself, brightness is high but I don't know how much.
@@AMx201 The PWM Values (MIN MAX INI) must be set to 100 otherwise it would dim except PWM Max where it can be set to whatever value that is comfortable with you.
- MAX (Set to whatever I like for example 40) - INI_2D (100) - MOVIE_INI (100) - Mid (set to 100 too?) - Min (100) Is this the way to go? All of them to 100 except Max to whatever I want the TV brightness to be? But if Min is greater than Max would this be a problem and the TV will not go under 100? Sorry lol.
@@AMx201 lol no worries. That is the way to go. The PWM MIN and MID values is how the TV "detects" when to increase or decrease the brightness. regardless of the PWM MAX setting. Setting PWM MIN and MID values to 100 nullifies the detection. PWM MAX is the "base level" of brightness
This tutorial saved my TV! A recent update sent PWM_MOVIE_INI value to 5! It was impossible to see anything. Fixed using your guide. Thanks mate! (QN90C)
Thank you so much. I honestly don't understand who the geniuses were at Samsung who thought, "hey let's make the thing gain or lose two stops on every edit!" was a good idea. Crazy that you have to dig into a service menu to "fix" something that should never have been there, but thanks for the info!
Thanks after 2 or three years of this problem i finally started looking around. After trying tye other videos turning off echo mode and all that bull it didn't make a difference. I will try this method as soon as my new remote comes in. My dog decided it looked like a chew toy. Too bad i waited until my remote was in a hundred pieces before i looked this up

@@shoibjr7709 Never did find it on my Television. I just got another Television that didn’t have the problem from elsewhere in my house. Sucks because we broke it trying to move it.
Thank you very much, the difference is like day and night. I don't understand how Samsung could release such crap. Dark content was completely unwatchable, but now the picture looks top-notch.
This track always summed up the poetic dissonance of Doomguy's existence, to me. The violin strings evoke a sadness at what he is eternally fated to do - and then, the rest feels like him licking his wounds, pulling himself up, and going back into the fray against the hellspawn.
