What is that cause of this concern? I have a customer vehicle doing the same thing. Transmission speed sensor? Broken tone ring for the transmission input shaft speed sensor?
I have this exact issue. I got new transmission put in and not only is it still there, but has gotten slightly worse. Any ideas on a solution? I don’t want this new transmission damaged…
No I got it done by a specialist at a AAA approved shop. Brand new transmission under warranty. Do you think bringing it into the GMC dealership would help? Or another problem?
After I put my transmission in I took it for a 9 hour trip next day it work fine for the first 4 hours in I started have issues again it kept on getting stuck in fourth gear in it would just start slipping the clutch I would have to shut the vehicle off let the transmission reset and it would work for a little bit again it just kept on doing that after so friend of mine, mention it to bring it to GM dealer and get it re-linked to the vehicle so I did and had couple little issues after! I put 40,000 km on after works amazing now. I had to take it easy after I had it re-linked to the vehicle since the transmission learns how to shift again.
I can’t say exactly what it was Either the torque converter or the linings inside the transmission I found a used transmission in swap it my self it’s bin working great after that
@@seanmcgraw8551 Ya the are known to have transmission problems I to the risk to but a used one one I have put 60,000 K/M on it now haven’t had any more problems after
@@seanmcgraw8551 I’m not exactly sure what it was it very well could off bin the torque converter, but I was able to purchase a used transmission for a decent price so I just replace the whole thing put 60,000 K/M on haven’t had any issues yet
