I've read a comment in some other video that said, just park the rock in the elevator, dump the gems on the elevator floor, move the ROC, and then finally lower the gems. It seams like the quickest way, but I never saw anybody test it. Would love to see video about this method
Next time try keeping it stacked and us the storage terminal to open your cargo can and drag the gems as a stack into your storage and I bet it will work out the same way, Ill let you know because I am going to go try.
30k protection just screwed me, so now I have to wait until the server stores my ship or I might have just lost 1200 hiddenite. I called to doc at ARC L1, and it gave me a bay to park in, but it would not show me where and then the server 30ked and the crash protection failed.
Also Ores in the Freight Elevators works as well. What makes sense. Otherwise how bring the Ores from you’re ship? 😅 In my case I unload all Ores from the Rock into a Container, bring it down the Freight Elevator and sell it.
Yes, you can make money. The problem is with the gems and inventory. The Roc inventory is not being recognized when you go to sell. I am going to test this again since we have a new update 3.24.1
You didn't check the sub-category. The first selection is the ship, the second is the cargo crate. To be clear, I haven't tested this and don't know if it's working, but I did notice that you didn't look at all your options.
dont quick sell, click the box and hit sell on the right it will show the box and contents.I dont think it works anyway, using the freighter to seperate them all and sending them back down seems to be the only work around to sell gems in bulk for me personally. Hitting quick sell sells the box and returns the contents to you or in some cases it just sells the box and you lose contents depending on how SC bugs want to mess with you at that particular time.
I looked at this today and worry that hitting that sell button could lose what I have in the crate. I will try it again, but not happy losing money from selling the crate.
and its so hard to get cargo out or inside for example aurora, because its too low and there is no space. So it's very painful to store even 1 item in your ship and get it out like its some big operation xd. Game needs QoL changes. It's possible to be realistic and still comfortable like for example in Tarkov. And it's totaly unplayable to move items like magazines granades between armors, move attachments from and to weapons, switch armors etc. Proxy inventory at least helped to do this.
The problem was that when you moved them from the elevator back into the warehouse, you moved them back into the box. You've got to "back out" of the box to access the overall warehouse storage, and you can do that by clicking the little "x" where it says you're in the Stor-all Box in the inventory screen. Is this as a result of the stacking bug? I was in Klescher the other day...(I was framed) I had to separate all the gems to a stack of one. Then worked like a charm
You can not sell from the ROC? Man CIG just bring back the ship inventories. I think if your ship had a shared storage locker you can put them in there and sell from the ship if you lower your ship and store. I have not tried this yet.
Good idea. I have a ship storage, but you still have to transfer into your backpack first, then put into ship inventory. I will also try this method out.
I think they bought too much drugs with our money. Edit: Sorry I’m upset with their direction. We’re flying friggin space ships around, yet we’re supposed to manage shit like this like cave men? Nah… I’ll wait till they make a decent game or keep playing something else.
How did you end up getting your ships? I had to move to Everus Harbor because my personal hanger isn't working at New Babbage anymore. I can't spawn or land my ships there anymore. I just hope Everus Harbor works for me until the next big patch.
I was trapped at HUR L2 when my hanger broke. I committed suicide so I would spawn at my other imprint place. From there I was able to get my ships. After some time, I was able to return to my large hanger at hur l2, but the freight elevator is still broken.
Funny you mention that because I was thinking about that while recording the video. I will try it out. Make sure you only have gems in the backpack, though.
@@matteobarbarini3120 try and make sure it is all one stack, then place on elevator and put into warehouse. then follow the other steps as shown in video.
You can sell it if everything is divided into 1 piece . It can be divided quickly by calling all the ore into the hangar , via an elevator . Then send it back and you can go sell it.
it's not that ship inventories "stopped working for some reason" - ship inventories were REMOVED, ON PURPOSE. This is their new design paradigm. It's not JUST incompetence--it's MALICE, TOO! Now, as far as I can tell, what you're "supposed" to do is put as many gems into your personal storage as you can hold, then carry them to either the local inventory management kiosk OR to a standard STOR*ALL self-storage container that you've bought and brought with you to dump them in that. You can no longer directly transfer the items. *By Design.* your aUEC balance _did_ go up at 9:45 though even if it was telling you it still needed to be delivered. it's stupid. they were delivered. no 'awaiting' necessary
I was unable to sell my refined minerals from the ship, and even after transferring them to the station inventory, I encountered the same failed message. The minerals failed to appear at the TDD when attempting to sell from the station inventory.
@@Pandafoo I attempted to sell the minerals at Area 18 that have been in my C2 since last Friday, but with no success. I still receive a failure message at the end of the TDD transaction.
I had a issue with my destroyed ship not giving me an option to claim - you may have to go to your main - home spawn city, call ship there - then fly back to that station..that may unstick it
You no longer get a ship inventory, and a lot of ships get fucked over because you have no way of getting a cargo can on the smaller ships. The Mole used to have space to carry mining gadgets, but CIG likes fucking over the Mole.
Yes, I feel for the smaller ships because they basically got screwed. Makes me mad because this potentially forces people to have to pay cash to buy other ships. I got lucky that my C1 Spirit has a inventory. Not sure about my other ships yet as my hanger broke when trying to sell gems today.
You got room for 4-5 gadgets in a backpack and you can always grab a SCU box and take it up the elevator, I always have one with extra gadgets , food, drink, and utility items , some ammo just in case etc.
@@Pandafoo I do the same thing, quite handy with the new system. Like a go crate ready for anything I just grab and put into my ship, also have stuff there for friends etc if they forget a multi tool, all attachments to it, medical device, some medical stuff and some of the most used ammo.
Do you think its bugged - or honestly think the new mechanic will be park the ROC onto a freight elevator and 1 by 1 drop the gems onto the floor? - In all seriousness which do you think is more likely
for sure something is bugged. I was using a personal 2 scu storage crate to offload the gems from the roc. Sadly, the roc inventory does not open the personal storage container, so you have to move the gems to your inventory first, then over to the scu crate. I put the crate on elevator for freight, sent it down and game crashed. My personal hanger no longer is available.
This is not meant in a cruel manner. But, brother... you need to hit Arena Commander and practice some basic dogfighting skills, even cargo runs can turn deadly at any point. Having some basic skil in flight combat will at least give you a chance.
I would set up gimbles on whatever ship you're flying you'll have an easier time aiming at targets it seems you were struggling a bit getting it aimed down, with gimbles wherever your mouse is aimed at it'll shoot at, you just press G and it should enable them if you have them, this was also a NPC they appear a lot with a full first and last name instead of one name all together.
you need to change your pip, take grav assist off and get into some arena commander. also learn your keys binds because you kept switching to missiles when you two were in kissing distance
Yes, good advice about the key binds. I notice they change or reset, and I find out the hard way. However, I do need to set up key binds for combat systems, etc.
…..why is your speed limiter set so low to fight?? It’s basically like you trying to fight/fly with your landing gear down, even with MM’s making everything god awful slow and simplified you still come across stuff like this 😂
I just noticed this on my new bike. And the disks brake gets noisy after like 10 min of riding in a city setting... Any advice on how I can fix this? My good bike was stolen and i figured getting a fat bike would be a good replacement.
hi there. i think someone said about adjusting the B screw on the derailleur to open up the gap so that when it's in 1st gear/34 it doesn't foul the cog.
