James gun can’t even get the Superman story correct the suit is god awful the story makes 0 sense and they are already introducing characters they shouldn’t have for a bit
Adamas/Me: (Seriously looking) Sephiroth: (Unsmiling) Celestor: (Undecided) Michael: What does just Loki did? Metatron: He restored the Multiverse? Adam/Inarius: (Coughing at his tea) Wha- what!? Abel: Father, it's a Tree of Death! Papa God Almighty: (Enter the Hall) (To be continue)
No? Are you stupid? Snyder just wanted everyone to understand the innate dangers in the existence of such a being. We're all flawed...human, or not. And anyone can turn down a really bad path. Nobody's special in that sense. Henry Cavill's Superman was as good-natured and caring as anyone could be, and he did his best to live up to what he felt was his responsibility with his power. They didn't quite represent very well the inevitability of Zod forcing Supes to kill him...but it was necessary. Moralize the avoidance of killing all you want...but you really DON'T have a choice, in the end. Choice is just a convenient fantasy we tell ourselves to sleep better at night. The fact is...Superman is a THREAT...just by existing at all. Period. Nothing else matters. The only thing to do, is hope he was raised well (which, in general is the case), and try to be as supportive in his emotional health as possible...not overwork him and make sure he's got adequate opportunities and tools to deal with his mental health. That's all. Making Superman an innate paragon of virtue is...creepy and weird...it's unnatural.
