yo slap the supercharger...worth it. mine is FBO, 6MT, with supercharger and I'm light...around 3,100 pounds...yo I beat n54 idiots pushing 400hp+...they underestimate how light and fast...Im pushing close to M3 power and super reliable. This is a beautiful car.
Thanks man! Yeah I never thought about that but this car is really light and quick! Can you give me a breakdown of the parts you have so I can look into it?
@@jlvproduction 3 Stage manifold, headers, MILVS, tune, custom exhaust, supercharger and tune...I haven't dyno but I believe I'm pushing around 350hp to 400hp...its not a lot but for a light car, it is impressive power; spent about $10k for all of these mods. Moding an N54 will be more expensive and continuous maintenance...I understand the appeal for more power but nahhh
@@jlvproduction and yes the manual transmission adds a spice kick to the driving experience...I have not owned an automatic so I wouldnt know, but not as fun...you can always make the conversion to MT
I keep seeing this same dude with a G8 every week when I’m headed to work, makes me want a Holden so much more lol, next year is the plan for SS or GXP 💪🏾
I cant stand that oddball chop on my vehicles...sounds forced, i like the natural sound of the cam more. Sounds good tho, bet she mives out over 3k rpms too. ru-vid.comGWDoB6UFH3Q?si=w7kvDl1VnSUgYtlB That's more the sound I like, took me a while to understand how to make it sound like this vs how yours sounds tho.
Not sure but they are pricy! I would maybe switch back to the mickey Thompson ET for the rear. I feel those hooked more than the Toyo. However the Toyo design does look nice 👍
@@jlvproduction MTs be good. When going for looks the 888Rs are awesome to look at. On my GT350 I'm torn with looks/performance and I still haven't pulled the trigger to either the 888Rs or the Nitto NT555s. Better all around with the NT especially in chilly weather and wet roads like here in MN. Lets face it, none of us have a dedicated drag car, only in our heads and the everyday all around keeps saying NT555 and the cool factor in me says 888R. I don't living in scorching hot Arizona anymore where your tires are always sticky even if they are 15yrs old. I know i should be getting the NT555s for all around performance but damn its a hard decision.
It’s a bummer that they didn’t put the oil filter in the same locations as the Eco Boost which is just a cartridge at the top of the engine. At least the 5.0 has a real oil pan and drain plug unlike the plastic they use on the Eco Boost that drains all on the sway bar directly in front of the drain plug🙄 if you’re interested in using 100% synthetic oil and boost performance and protection, let me know. Great Video🤙🏽
A lot of people will clown on a ecoboost but haven’t driven one and it’s honestly fast enough for 98% of people and it’s faster than 98% of all other cars on the road. I’m willing to bet it will beat a 4.6 GT or at least keep up. Sick car man!
Thanks man! Yeah it’s definitely not a slow car for it being stock, with an upgraded turbo it can definitely beat some v8 cars! I am going to find a 4.6 gt and put it to the test 😎
I mean i owned my ecoboost for a year and i kept up with my friends who drove a 5.0 gt and a zo6 corvette when they raced, granted i wasnt first but i still kept up to film lol
I put money in a heartbeat that a stock eco will beat a 4.6. Especially if its a 21+ because it has 330 hp vs early models with 310. A 4.6 gt has 315 and is heavy@jlvproduction
@@aaronborders9070. Only the HPP has 330HP. All others have the 310 - but in the end, the difference is nil. I have a 22 Ecoboost and i love its high-revving turbo engine. I also have a 19 Bullitt. They are not the same car. Very different experience. The only thing they have in common is the shape of the body. One is a fast GT cruiser, and ecoboost is quick, agile, light perfect for the twisties.
Before you give up on your ecoboost mustang check out what has been done to the PowerTec 10 ecoboost Mustang. On the 1/8 mile drag strip they can beat at least 3 out of 4 GT's and they have barley touched the engine yet. Series starts at WWW.youtube.com/watch?V=WKV5iLh37HE gt
@@jlvproduction Over and under speed in tune will change chop ALOT also. I personally like the more natural sound of the cam vs the cyclic chop style. Over speed like 22 and I der speed -22 will do like yours sounds but more choppy, tighten that up and it'll give more natural sound.
I have the same car, its cute fun to drive but after 6 months of owning it and putting 3k into it plus premium gas prices here in NY its around 160a month just for gas, and you better do your owne oil changes or its around 175 for a simple oil change at the dealer it is a nice car to drive if you have the Paper$$$$$ Have a great day Iceman
