Hi mate,did you remove ski hatch cover and rear backing plate at back of rear seat to let more bass into the car? I am struggling to remove it,any suggestions? I have done install in C300h Mercedes and the boot is solid and not much bass coming into the front.

@gastyle9445 you've picked up the accent excellently 😊 yeah the speakers themselves are fine so it's gotta be either the wiring or the amp. I cannot see the amp anywhere in the boot. Mines an e87 m sport so might be in the rear seat side panel as I read that somewhere.
@@SpikesMavic Don't think so. As the ac hoses are there. It's actually easier if you get the right angle. Did it again not so long ago and took me 10 minutes.
About to do the bumper myself for fog light replacement.What kind of clips, screws, etc connecters would you buy in advance if the broken clips need to be replaced?
Honestly can't properly advise you. Some are Japanese long clips with wide top and metal inside some are generic ones. Best bet would be to order a bundle of clips and either make them work or they will fit perfectly.
Nice one mate. Doing my passenger side now. Thise 3 screws are plastic rubbish so they will be replaced. Now will look how to remove the door lock mechanism

@@dj_mumu Well you possibly can. But you would have to remove everything from one vehicle to put in an other. So it's probably vise to go for new aftermarket stuff rather than that spending thousands on factory crap system.
@@farting505 I'm based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Yes I do installs and supply the kit. You can also go for more expensive option which comes with dsp and then you can upgrade all 4 speakers and 2 subs. Or you can have a basic package like in video
@@0lz179 Probably be best to do obd central electric reading. See if any codes come up. Check the black fuse box on top of the battery too just in case.

@@menyar4444 If it doesn't match then more than likely you have amplifier on board. You can install the headunit but you need to make long harnesses and bypass the factory amplifier

@@90nadz Thanks bud. No you need to make your own out of mdf or buy special ones off ebay. All speakers are 6.5 inch. I had Rockford fronts and Kenwood rears

@@TheMarcodu82 That's strange. I have an aftermarket headunit in this nv400. If you have factory headunit then be down to wiring. Well to be honest be down the wiring anyway

Mate the black mounting plate behind the speaker is that something you added? I got speaker install kit it came with the same bracket but I thought it might make the speaker stick out too far into the door card?
What was the dimensions of the ported box, wanting one of these 15inch trex subs but need to know how big the box will be to see if it will fit in my boot
@@gs0412 Porter sounds better to be honest. Only reason I changed to sealed is because it didn't fit. For ported 15 inch sub you need around 4 cuf. Sealed around 2. After that make your box to fit to the boot and happy days.
@@Kasev309 Either under the vehicle if its really thick or make new holes etc through the firewall. Or try get it in through factory locations witch are none as long as I remember. Custom already ran the power wire under the car I just repaired it and did my thing
