Great. I can’t believe after one year of finding me alive and well on Twitter Chennattu Paul screenshot one of my comments about me getting harassed by Mets 4040 a gay stalker who’s thinks I’m gay but really I’m a straight man and single.
and there were also USAF F-86s in the Japanese version were they don't shoot there home but chase on of the Rodans also in the First Ever Godzilla film in 1954 there was F-86D sabers in it but Japan did not have the D saber until 1958
Actually, it's for the U.S. version of the movie. Which isn't lost media, and can be bought on VHS. But the Export English dub is lost media, and hasn't been found yet.
Yeah, I don't think this is real. The delivery of Patrick's line sounds more like an impersonation rather than his actual voice actor. Plus, you can tell that there's a lack of SFX during the line, as they cut out when it's said, and cut back in afterwards. Unless this was both an alternate take, plus it was laid over this clip to give it context, I'm calling fake on this one.
LMW's discord is really boogers, and the users over there aren't that helpful. Pretty rare, you'll see one that gives you some attention and tries to help you, but the majority of its users get butthurt on #off-topic over the slightest inconvenience, such as why the grass is green.
I disagree on New World Pictures doing a "terrible job" on re-editing "Submersion of Japan" to be "Tidal Wave." Most of the story is there, it just goes in a faster pace to get the point across. Although, the Lorne Greene does not add anything to the movie. You can cut them out, and the movie will be fine without them. I have no comment for "The Return of Godzilla" yet.
Mets 4040 why can’t you leave me alone? And will someone on ISWV please find Mets 4040 and take legal action against him? I am being harassed by a fake Vic supporter.
Recently, this scene now resurfaced in Mandarin Cut version of The Big Boss (1971) by Arrow Video and Fortune Star Media Limited as part of Bruce Lee at Golden Harvest 4KUHD Blu-ray box set.
35mm prints had a different title sequence that played out over the same footage as in the Japanese version. The end title is also definitely blue. So was the main title in the theatrical version.
That's interesting to know. I remember there a eBay listing of the 35mm print of "Tidal Wave." One of the pictures on the listing, showed text over footage. Most likely that was the theatrical opening you mentioned. With the credits playing over footage from the Japanese version
