Hello Everyone! My name is Dawnelle (Dawn + Elle) and this channel was created to share helpful information that I've learned along this journey called life. I believe my life's purpose is to share information so here I am. Five years ago I started to document my loc journey on this channel to help those that are transitioning from loose natural hair to loc'd hair. On this channel you'll learn about locs, how to put together stylish looks (fashion & makeup), and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle by making mostly gluten free and plant-based food recipes. This is a one stop shop for pretty much all of your needs :-).
I hope to inspire you to do something different. For those who are transitioning from chemically treated hair to loose natural hair, for those that already have loose natural hair and want to learn how style it, and for those that want to eat and live a healthier lifestyle. One of the main points that I will display is: Work With What You Have, Not Against It!
I have starter locs and I made 18 weeks yesterday after I retwisted it 3 days ago im starting to see some length to the point where I can shake my locs ❤❤❤...I'm gonna try this because I think the shells make the hair pop ...❤❤❤
I’m 4 years in and mine already almost to my behind. I’m thinking about cutting bc it’s heavy and I miss my styles with my shoulder length hair. So thank you for this
I’m 8 years in and in need for a good trim. Getting it done today as we speak and I came across this video. I can’t wait to feel lighter!!!! This gave me the confidence I needed!
Lovely locs and great video, I'm having a similar experience with my locs and I've been pondering if I should trim them but I can't let any part of them go. I sleep on the floor because nothing else felt better for my body.
Love the music choice....oh, and the locs😊. I've always wanted to try this product, but with ever decreasing and thinning hairline, I've been dubious. However, seeing your routine has given me the confidence to try. I see this video is 4 years old. Do you still use these products 4 years on? Blessings
I cut 4 inches off mines today they were past my butt I feel so much relief i had my loctician even them out she took off a lil bit so 4 1/2 inches all together i feel so good ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ been growing mines 19 yrs
I have had locs for 14 and a half years and now thigh length - this includes cutting almost a foot off in the past. They grow like grass and are quite heavy.
So glad to see that you did cut them to comfort! When I had locs for 10 years in the past, gray was not even a thought. Restarted my locs end of January '24...there is gray hair all up through and AROUND my babies!!! Embracing every moment!
Yess! Oh wow that’s awesome that you started a new journey! You are absolutely right! I’m starting to like my grays more and more each day now to the point where ive even took a break from gelling them down☺️
