I have one issue with this new show. Try everything sounds a little off because instead of it sounding like the song was coming from Trixie it sounds more like the song was pre recorded from Emma lee Roberts and being pumped out from Trixie. It made the effect look like Trixie was lip singing.
Of course they HAD to include a song from Frozen and it’s the worst and most unnecessary one in the entire movie. Who asked for Fixer-Upper to be sung in this attraction? Why did Disney think that was such a good idea? (In fact, who asked for Country Bear Jamboree to be given a permanent IP-based overlay? NOBODY, that’s who.) Fixer-Upper is just one of the many, many reasons why Frozen’s the WORST and most OVERRATED franchise of all time. When will the insanity ever end? At least Let It Go was excluded.
I sent 4TH of July fireworks and get rid of Luminous the symphony of us as the cosplay of Harmonious That was the Plan all Long I don’t like Harmonious and I don’t like Luminous the symphony of us guess what illuminations is back at Epcot
My main criticism is the absence of any sort of building tension throughout the attraction. There’s no feeling of danger or dread and I know that might be a silly criticism about a family log flume ride, but even the most basic flume ride has that element of danger incorporated into the thinnest of stories. Just my two cents. I’m sure it’s a fine attraction, but splash mountain wasn’t the best ride in Disney because it was a fun log flume.
looks pretty impressive when all the elements are going at once (the fountains, projections, drones and fireworks). Did feel like the center water screen could be bigger (had trouble figuring out what was being shown a few times) - but maybe not an issue when seeing it in person vs a vide
A few scenes were hard to make out what was being shown. One day the industry will perfect water screens. They did upgrade for projectors which helped A LOT. Also, Universal learned from their previous shows, especially their HHN ones to put more stylized artwork on the water screens. Especially the outer ones. That also helped.
@@Thrillgeek Universal is killing it lately right?! I forgot they were testing drones and wasn’t expecting in the show so that was an awesome surprise! 😎
Let’s be real here. You didn’t even listen to the podcast. We actually go over things we didn’t like about the ride. But hey. Thanks for the comment and the engagement! It helps our video do better!
For the price Disney charges, this is ridiculously underwhelming. I see the same vibes in the Rainforest cafe and the beginning of pirates. But once they axed the boat on top of the mountain, I knew trouble was coming.
If someone ever makes a video of nice, still, and closer looks at all the main animatronics (the multiple Tianas, Louises, and Mama Odies)on the ride saying all of their lines (because I know for a fact they all have multiple lines and not just the ones we see here), that’d be amazing!!
