This was awesome Ms. Cocoaknots! So many videos show the before and after, but never show progress…. I do protective styles and take down every three months or so, so it’s good to know that I’m on the right track… We appreciate you showing how the spacing between the parts got smaller… That’s the true tell!!! Here’s to your health ❤️❤️❤️😆😆😆
@@Brandy3319 thank you my darling, I appreciate you , I really wanted to encourage people with similar situations to truly trust the process, slow progress is still progress 🤗
A lot of women have thinning hair due to the menopause. l don't think any amount of nutrition or protective styles can compete with hormonal hair loss.
@@jenoliver9512 ok , but the fact is cholesterol regulation promotes leveled hormones, proper vitamin D and a cholesterol rich protein diet will most definitely ease menopausal symptoms including hairloss
I am doing hormone treatment and also taking vitamin D supplements and I now noticed a difference. I have also noticed when brushing my hair I’m pulling out my hair. Thank you for that because I hate brushing my hair. I wet my hair and use my fingers. I was doing that because it hurts but thank you for confirming that it’s ok.
Nice video. I wish you had shown unedited pictures of the progress parted in the same place as the original video so we could see the actual difference. When you showed them side to side it was easy to see how edited the updated pictures were and again, it wasn't the same place or same style to compare. Thanks for the tips though
@@OGFyah never edited babe and I tried my best a year ago I did not know I would be doing a year long progress video , I documented what I could and decided to share with my platform, thanks for watching
Hi, I just found your site. I am experiencing this thinning and bald spots ,I also have sisterlocs and the aging process. I noticed that when my hair started to grow after i would get my hair retighten, it was defeating my progress. So i have made my mind up to stop the retightening and to just condition and keep my hair moisturized and let it grow out while i am trying to take out the locks. I was looking at the products you were using on the young lady hair, I am afraid (1) to put that in my hair for fear i won't be able to get it all out and i don't want build up in my hair.(2) I have allergies to certain chemicals known & unknown any advice for me Please!!
Wow! The progress is great! Where is your shop? I live in south florida too with thin fine hair and lots of bald spots. I think i will be bald by next year if this keeps up. Looking for some help.
This is caused because of how tight the braids are done. Putting hair up does thin out the hair especially at the front because the pulling puts strain on the hair.
It in her case , she was wearing wigs and hats and headbands before she came to me , no braids or extensions, but yes some people who have tight heavy braids can possibly experience tension alopecia and hair loss
thank you for this i really needed a method I could do with no rubber bands. but I also have a hard time with feeding the hair into the braid. I’m gonna try this on some mini twists.

I don't want long hair just manageable and healthy hair. And to re-grown my my edges. I live alone, low income, senior citizen with rheumatoid arthritis. So I'm watching for detangling. Is bantana oil good for my hair?
Hi I have a question I have fine 3c 4a does a metal pick cause breakage and can severe breakage happen overnight due to to much manipulation if I’m doin it everyday
@@808Nehemiah absolutely my dear even though my products are magic, it’s only part of the equation my dear , you have to increase hair watering almost daily and also reducing how often you comb your hair throughout the year
I have fine thin hair. This is very good to see. We who have fine hair do not see this is detail, like you have shown with your client. It's like no one wants to help us with sparce or low density hair. But this is great to see I love this video. Thank you for giving us hope. God bless you
@@ericas8913 no ! She is grown and wants fake hair. Not everyone is ready to wear their damaged hair for the world to ridicule , ofcourse all know no hair added is the best , but there are more ways to skin a cat , the problem in this case is not the weave it’s many other factors like nutrients deficiency and over manipulating with combs , as long as the weave is not tight or heavy , her hair will be ok
Wow, progress! I have fine and thin hair and my hair has been breaking off and my parts are far apart. For the past couple of weeks I only use my hands to detangle, I am using tea leave in conditioners that I made and I've been focusing more on scalp care and adding more nutrients to my diet. I believe I will see results in the near future. Thank you for sharing this video! Are you in NYC? I need a beautician like you to go to.
Hey boo I’m in south Florida, and thank you for watching, yes you are definitely going to see progress my dear , with all the wonderful things your doing for your hair especially not combing your fine hair
