The Badloves 1992 debut album "Get On Board" peaked at #5 on the ARIA charts achieving double platinum status and hovered in the charts for a gravity defying 69 weeks.
Throughout the 90's they enjoyed hits with "Green Limousine", "Lost", "Caroline", "Slave", "Barefoot Bride" "Memphis" and the Top 5 hit "The Weight" with Jimmy Barnes.That is the history.
Currently Michael Spiby is keeping The Badloves legacy alive and relevant with new music. Their recent new singles ‘Soulbrothertruckinsong’, 'Tribal' and 'Midnight Sun' immediately take you back to their trademark sound from 1993 featuring Hammond organ and Spiby’s rich soulful vocals.
Expect to hear an album from the band soon.

I wasn't expecting Shazam to detect this when i was watching a grainy episode of Neighbours from 1996 with muffled audio today. I'd love to get my hands on the instrumental but going by the replies below, that may not be possible.

1996 Uni SA O week got rained out! You came back later in the year and played a very small gig at Magill Uni...Thank you. It was my 2nd Badloves gig, after The Bridgeway in '95 I think. Leonardo's Bride played that gig too❤🎉
Another underrated champion of Australian 60’s music Jim Keays. He fronted the Masters Apprentices and also co wrote half their hits with guitarist Doug Ford. Fantastic version and Brilliantly supported by the band and Michael Spiby from The Badloves

A few years back I spent a drunken couple of hours finding all the Caroline songs on RU-vid, not including Sweet Caroline (apologies to Neil) This is by FAR the best one, beautiful song. With thanks to the Badloves, from a Caro xx
