I have a old key west 19 that I am debating painting. You said you used awlgrip, D line on the bottom? My boat sometimes is in the water for 5-7days at a time. What paint would you use for this situation on the bottom. Thanks and beautiful results on the scarab.
What product did you use for the bottom? I have a 31 center console that has ablative paint but no barrier coat. I want to strip paint and restore it back to either gel coat or paint. Boat will be lift kept so no need for anti fouling paint. What product ypu recommend that is durable enough for bottom of hull.
Fantastic job on the Scarab! Really loving that citrus green. Owner must of been stoked. Most people do not understand what can be accomplished shooting outside with Awlcraft 2k or Alexaseal. I still shoot OG Awlgrip (can't beat the durability) on my own projects, but tend to the other lines on client projects.
Looks awesome man. I have that exact Scarab (Great shape though) I redid the whole boat with coosa - floor, transom, etc. I work overseas and would love to have you shoot the color bc of my time constraints. I will get in touch..
