Alcoholism is a vicious, cruel disease. I'm a recovered alcoholic and I struggled for decades to get out of this specific demon's grip. It seems that some young people have quick onset alcoholism and it progresses very fast. My heart breaks for you. I'm also a believer and she is on heaven now.
I enjoyed a lot of this sermon but then the end prayer came and he started praying to Jesus instead of to God the Father as Jesus taught us to and I was like why are people (even self proclaimed believers) trying to get rid of and replace God the Father? HUGE RED FLAG🚩 When Jesus taught us to pray he said "our Father who art in heaven" and he said to ask God the Father for things in his(Jesus Christ's) name. Jesus was heard praying to his Father/The Father in heaven. No one can substitute as God the Father, not even his chosen and sent son Jesus. Why do people claim to know God and his son Jesus Christ and to teach the gospel of Christ yet then don't do as he clearly instructed and commanded us to do? 🤨 At least he says why in this video. Because he doesn't know, he doesn't really know. If you're going to claim to know and believe in God and his son Jesus then the least you can do is follow the teachings and example given by him and them for us to follow and mimic. Jesus did not and does not instruct us to pray to him (God's son). I don't expect the saints to be perfect but to fall short in certain areas. But please do your best to try to follow the basics and direct examples God gave us through his son Jesus, such as how to pray, so not to confuse and look ignorant and disobedient to who you are claiming to know, believe in and follow. 🙏 Some seem mature in the faith yet are clearly still lacking even the basics.🙄🤦♂

The fastest growing demographic in religion are the growth of the nones, those who don't believe or have no particular belief. In Europe the church is in decline and it is starting to happen in the USA. Millennials are leaving in droves. People see how hypocritical these prosperity preachers like Hinn, Copland, Jake, etc who live in opulent homes etc. The Southern Baptists have gone from 16 million to 13 million and only a third of those are active. Scholars studying the Old Testament argue there is no archaeological evidence for the conquest . Digging for Answers Biblical Archaeologists are about as certain as you can be about these things that the conquest of Canaan as the Bible describes did not happen: no mass invasion from the outside by an Israelite army and no extermination of Canaanites as God commanded One thing archaeologists can tell us is whether or not a city was violently destroyed by outside invaders and whether a new group of people took up residence, Battle and destructions of cities leave archaeological footprints - things like soot(if the town was burned0, weapons, smashed pottery, and human bones. Mass migrations of people groups as the Bible describes with Israel entering Canaan would cause some cultural upheaval and leave some sort of remains for archaeologists to dig up and write long books about to help them get tenure. Remember those thirty-one Canaanite towns listed in the Book of Joshua (plus other towns on either side of the Jordan River)? Sixteen towns were destroyed according to the stories in the books of Numbers, Joshua and Judges. Of those sixteen, two or three maybe four cities show signs of violent desctruction at or around the time when Joshua and his army would have been ploughing Canaan(thirteenth centuryBCE about 200 years before the time of King David)). That’s it The towns on the other side of the Jordan River, in Moab, don’t look like they were even occupied at the time. We also read in the Bible that twelve towns were taken over without a fight. But of those twelve only seven were even occupied at the time , according to archaeological findings. And of those same twelve towns that the Bible says weren’t destroyed, three actually do show signs of destruction. In other words, archaeology and the biblical story don’t line up well at all. Jericho, the first of the towns to be razed in the Book of Joshua, is the most famous example. Not only was Jericho minimally inhabited at the best of time, but it had no massive protective walls, which means the biblical story of the “walls of Jericho” tumbling down - at least that’s what a hundred years of digging there has shown us. What most everyone is certain about however, is that the Bible;’s version of events is not what happened. how can you have doubts when god is "personal" and "revelatory", isn't he right there 24/7 even when you want some privacy? neediness and insecurity are the bread and butter of religion.
I fear him terribly. He sees my heart& I think I know my heart, but maybe I dont see it as He does. As clearly...truthfully. That is scary. But I try very hard to be transparent, but I think everybody has done something so shameful that it stings to think about. I deal w/ this alot.

I thank God that he is in control of our nation! He gave us Joe Biden when we needed him most. I KNOW that He knows what He’s doing. The Lord always does! I don’t see any reason why God wouldn’t let us have 4 more years! Praise Jesus!!!
Speaking of holding each other accountable, I think it was very wrong for Ed to try and teach his buddies a “lesson” by spewing the “F” word so they could see how ridiculous it was. Why not simply speak to them about their foul language? It was also disturbing that he comments that “it was probably wrong” but continues to laugh about it. I suspect his wife was horrified that he was sharing this with their church not to mention tons of people who would watch that video. I encourage you to reconsider your actions and do better Pastor Ed. Maybe even apologize so those younger in the faith don’t follow the same behavior because of your example.
I’m 18 and feel so much fear about dying, my parents and myself. I just don’t want all the plans I have to end, and I want to do so much for God on this earth. I want my entire family to, and to live long lives too. It just scares me to not be in control of that part, because who decides whose dream is worth keeping alive? I think about it all the time and it’s starting to affect my day to day life.
What will Jesus say to Christian’s who do not oppose the progressive agenda at every turn. Trump is a thing because…CHRISTIANITY IS A WHORE FOR THE SPIRIT OF THE AGE
