Man, if you have the extra money, I would go with 640. But, there are lots of factors. If you want, give me a call happy to go over them all 979 885 9610
I personally like the Pulsar Thermion 2 XL50 LRF Pro. I want a lower base magnification for a bigger field of view. We like to get close to hogs and take a bunch of running shots. However, there are so many great optics out there now. We try to match our customers with the right one for their hunting needs. What suits me in Texas in Brush Country may not suit the guy in Ohio or Kansas. Budget is also a factor. Thank you for the question. Feel free to give me a call if you are in the market. 979 885 9610
First thing I noticed is you didn't even try to have a good image on the XP. its out of focus... Plusars are known for oversharpening and the XL looks sharp but the information on the bottom of the XP is fuzzy as well. Would be nice if you posted an update with both in focus.
Yes, the guys sent this video from VA, and we must have lost image quality in the transfer. We will try to do better next time. Both are great scopes, and we sell them all. Thank you for the comment
Both Are great scopes. I personally would go with Storm only because of the lower base mag. I do think the L6 has a better image, tho. My cell is 979 885 9610 if you ever want to talk about thermal
We have not had any complaints. I do always suggested my customers when switching to check zero but everybody that I’ve talked to you says there hasn’t been any issues.
@@MedioCreekThermal thanks I shoot about 5 nights a week and switch a pulsar xp50 lrf pro on a spuhr mount between 5 rifles and I haven’t had to rezero any in over a year. Saves me so much time. This scope gets me excited though haha. The mounts were my only concern. Thank you for the reply.
@@Fxairrifle straight from I Ray USA the ballistic calculator will not work on the V2 . If you ever want to talk feel free to give me a call 979 885 9620
I'm sorry if you don't like the review. Steven is NOT! Pro staff for any manufacturer and receives nothing from them. That's why I asked him to do these reviews. We want honest options on these optics, not someone who receives something from the manufacturer in return for a good review.
Good review. I went into Marine Corps boot camp (years ago) and during our range quals, we shot at 200, 300 and 500 yard line, no scopes. Just iron sights. Seems like most people find it difficult to shoot that far….. with M-16A1’s no less (triangle shaped hand guards)
I bought the RICO MK1 RH50V2 from him and I can say this...the image and sound quality are fantastic. I'm a Pulsar guy but I needed a 3x and wanted sub 25 mk and I got it with this when they were out of XG's. And to top it all off it's a sub 20mk with 60hz frame rate. If I had to make a complaint, all I can come up with is having to press two buttons at one time for standby and freeze functions. Other than that it is a spectacular optic for this price range. iRay made all the right upgrades on this V2 model
I see the "Video-out or external power supply Type C USB cable" for the Hogster Stimulus on the website. Does it function as a camera with a mini SD card or what exactly can I do with that usb c receptacle? Basically, if I can record footage, I want one more so now.
To be honest, I think they are close, but the 75mm seems better to me. It may just be the 4x base mag. That being said, the 4x is way too much mag for where I hunt. This is why we ask our customers to call so we can review all the options that will fit them best.
