@@patluvsvettes yeah I've started fertilizing more and more this season and will def kick it up a notch next year. But beside that the weather this summer (in Scandinavia) have been so-so. Btw is it bought fertilizer or some homemade stuff you use?
Do you plan to overwinter? Do you give tea? What is your ave summer temp and humidity? Us in Reno nv get low humidity in 20’s at night with day temps this year in mid to upper 90’s ave. Our plants are large but not many flowers turning. We even fertilize both slow release and liquid feed. Use NFTG. We notice as temps lowering on average to lower 90’s daytime for us with 60’s for night more plants are turning to pods. You seem to have longer grow season too. We have peak opp from mid May to end of Sept, early Oct.
@@roberttillotson6861 I may overwinter one or two of these, but I usually prefer to start with new plants every year. I save the seeds from the best-looking pods and plant them for my next season. I'm in central Kentucky and right now we are getting high temps in the low 80's. I don't use tea (never heard of that except for starting seed germination to remove bacteria.)
How do you get them so full with small pots I use 10 gallon grow bags and they are bigger than yours but not as Mutch bigger as I though seeing the size of your pots this was my first year growing peppers so idk 🤷♂️
I've removed the leaves at the lowest part of the plants and I've heavily fertilized all of the plants. I think that's what has caused them to branch out.
I bought some chocolate habanero seeds, Hungarian carot seeds and 4 white ghost seedlings from them. HC. All fine. 2 out of 4 WG seedlings died and zero chocolate Habs germinated! Won't order from them again!
I've been watering every day here in central Kentucky because we have high temps and no rain. I have fertilized and added Calcium to the plants. They are looking good so far and full of pods.
@@patluvsvettes I have myself a Habanero from 7 years , same plant, and all the time, every season he make flowers and they bloom then fall, all of them. In 7 years he never maked a fruit....sad. This month is the first time when i used fertilizer and someone recomanded me Something reach in calcium(Ca), iron(Fe) and some bor (B). I was thinking he miss some minerals or overwatering but...i try to figured out.
It's normal to have the plants drop some flowers when they first get started. Mine do the same thing. They will eventually set pods and you'll have plenty of peppers. Best of luck with your grow, and thanks for watching!
I think it’s great for people to review plants and suppliers even if suppliers give out seeds or plants. Even good companies I’ve seen have good reviews of some products and then bad reviews of other products. Look at cordycep militaris for instance and most people on youtube etc will say there’s only two suppliers in the nation that’s really good with maybe a couple more new suppliers.

@@3082goku Best of luck with your grow! I'm in central Kentucky, so my season is about from early May until mid October. After that, the days are too short and the temperatures are too cold.
That miracle grow potting mix is just pulverized wood and fertilizer and is terrible at holding moisture. I personally don't use miracle grow potting mix but if I did I would mix it with compost. Compost is going to make the soil more dense without stopping it from draining or the plants from spreading it's roots. I mix potting soil with compost myself. Potting soil is essentially potting mix with compost in it but if you can get potting mix cheap a bag of organic compost is about $5 and you just buy 1for 1 bags of compost and potting mix and blend them together. Either way next year don't throw out your potting soil just Amend with compost and fertilizer that way you spend less on potting mix every year. You can reuse the dirt in your pots up to 3 years as long as you add compost and fertilizer.
Just planted mine yesterday and this is my first time growing them. Hopefully I get them to sprout then I’ll transfer them to the 2cup method as well. I used a little seed starting mix from Walmart. It’s the back to roots brand and I put them in the little 12 cell dome from back to roots. Never grew peppers like this, I usually just plant them in the 2cup method so I don’t have to transfer them as much. Never used a heating mat and usually just used a lamp to start them out then I’d plant them outside in pots. I’d put them in the shade where’d the only get a little in the morning.

When you see white flowers on the plants, it means the plant has reached sexual maturity and can start reproducing and setting pods. From that point (about 90 days after the seeds first germinate) you're probably looking about another month to have plants full of pods, and another month before they fully ripen.
The moment you said "Dark Shadows", lol... I did a speech in college on Tarot Cards and used a scene from the 'revamp' with Barbara Steele as Natalie reading the tarot - and all the girls after my speech were like "We needed more Adrian Paul", lol
I remember Maggie's tarot card reading and the Ouija board scene from Dark Shadows. Fell in love with Joanna Going (still am) watching Dark Shadows back in the day. When I met Adrian Paul and mentioned that I was a fan since he was on Dark Shadows, he said, "Yeah, that didn't last long!" He was only in three episodes as Jeremiah Collins when his character was killed off and the series ended. He will always be the Highlander to me!
I was channel surfing and seen ur X Wing video,and hears a tip on cleaning the battery connectors use a cotton ball or paper towel soak them 1st w white vinaigrette them push the soak items into the battery compartment and let it soak for a bit then use tooth brush to clean it up ,u may hav to repeat process once or twice but it works

Best method requires no bait or lure. Use a double door 9x11x24 double door Comstock trap where they are coming under the fence. In can take as little as a few minutes to make the catch.

Hi, Tom! I use Miracle Gro Potting Mix. Haven't had any trouble with the aphids this year, but the earwips are eating a bunch of my peppers! They make a spray you can use on aphids.

I don't prune them once they're outside, but I sometimes prune them once I transfer the seedlings to the Solo cups prior to planting them. Some of them just grow too tall, and I'll prune them a bit just to keep the stems from breaking.
