I was told I had a nodule on my thyroid a lesion in my spine and I was being investigated for chrons. I didn’t have a good experience at the Townsville hospital so I relocated. Six months in a new I went to get the same tests done. There was no sign of any nodules on my thyroid or any lesion in my spine. They calling the thyroid nodules psyuedo nodules. They haven’t given me an explanation for the spinal lesion. Due to my experience in Townsville I’m more inclined to think I received incompetent care but maybe it was a miracle. They also tell me I have schizophrenia and from what I’ve read most people with the schizophrenia have an iq of around 80. I did a test and I got 113. I used to be a nurse but because of my so called mental illness I was forced to leave my job then eventually the town I grew up in. I’ve been accepted into psychology honours program but after my experiences I’m happy just to lead a simple quiet life now doing easy work. My life has not been easy and it’s a miracle that I am even still here. Most people would’ve topped themselves by now. But my faith in God keeps me going

To me it's completely mystifying why anybody with the least self-respect would want to be part of a non-accepting, non-affirming church like that. The fact that some (not all) Christians struggle with not judging despite obvious advice from their bible "do not judge lest you be judged" etc, etc, blah, blah, blah is absolutely extraordinary to me as practicing Hindu in a legacy christian country! Furthermore and even more to the point is the fact that a great many Christian denominations following the LIBERAL CHRISTIAN TRADITION ALREADY PERFORM SAME SEX MARRIAGE AND SO IT'S PROBABLY A HELL OF A LOT EASIER FOR THOSE GAY CHRISTIANS, etc to join those Christian communities from the get go and bypass the rest and just NOT get involved in THEIR DRAMAS and THEIR STRUGGLES! Go where you're best treated! By contrast in the Vedic/Sanatana Dharma/Hindu tradition their is absolutely no prohibition against Gay relationships and USA Mandirs (Hindu Temples) perform same sex marriage ceremonies and very much encourage full acceptance of sexual minorities. Not all Mandirs in all parts of the world take the same view and so sexual minorities may well be faced with having to look elsewhere if their needs are not accommodated more locally. It will be interesting to see how Mandirs in THAILAND respond to the new Same Sex Marriage laws coming into effect there this October 2024!
With all due respect, the reason why it is completely mystifying to you is because you do not know Jesus Christ the Savior. Since you are not a Holy Spirit filled Christian, you will never understand why a person would want to live a pure life for Jesus Christ. There are many churches and religions in the world; but NOT ALL of them are God’s Bible believing (and Bible teaching) churches. God is only the God and Father of those who put their faith and trust in His Son, Christ Jesus, who was crucified for our sins and rose from the grave and defeated death; and He now sits at the right hand of the Father in Heaven until He returns to judge the world and set up His kingdom (this is all in the Scriptures- the inspired written word of God). This is the God whom Christians worship and obey- the Creator of the universe. There are many gay/esbian people who have given their lives to Christ and they no longer participate in same-sex intimacy because Christ saved them; and they want to honor Him with their lives because they realized that how they were living was an offense to God. Nobody had to tell them it was wrong- the Holy Spirit of God showed them when He poured His love into their hearts. They know that it is a hard road to travel in this world that is obsessed with sexual gratification; but God gives them the grace and power to live for Him and not for themselves. This is something the world will never understand unless people repent and believe the gospel of Christ. When you turn to Christ, His Spirit takes residence in your heart. When you begin to learn about Him via the Scriptures, and learn about God’s plan for eternity, things start to make sense when you hear from God Himself. (God used men to pen the Scriptures by His Spirit) God loves all mankind and wants them to come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved. But He will NEVER force anyone to turn to Jesus for salvation. We all have free choice to accept or reject Christ’ sacrifice. God loves you and yours; God loves all gays and lesbians; God loves us all, and that is why He sent His Son to the cross for our sins. He loves us where He meets us, but He does NOT leave us where we are. He transforms us from the inside out by His Spirit and His word. Therefore, a gay/lesbian person who hears the gospel of Christ and turns (repents) and believes, will NOT WANT to go on sinning against the God who saved them If you are willing, I encourage you to read the Book of John in the New Testament. It is an amazing thing to walk with Christ while still on earth- knowing that one day we will meet Him and live with Him for eternity. May you want that for you and your family.
