I'm surprised that my Bucs are rated that high. BUT, I would personally rate them even higher. IMO, Mayfield is understandably the most under-rated QB of all time. Only people who take the time to watch Kurt Warner, JT Sullivan, and other respected QB experts break down every play of his career, realize just how good he is. If the Bucs O-line is improved, LOOK OUT FOR THE BUCS!!!
I definitely think that this has been slept on by much of the media, in one year with Tampa Baker has as many playoff wins as Kirk and Daniel Jones. As many division titles as Kirk had in Minnesota and Baker was a 4000 yard passer. If Tampa is sad about anything its that they didn't get a 5 year deal for that price
Yet another new OC this year. Give this guy what he has and a OC for a few years,he’s winning. No player is still a starter in the league going through all the changes he has had in the NFL.
Trevor Lawrence is ridiculously overpaid. he isn't even worth half what his agent managed to somehow get from jacksonville. kirk cousins is going to be the biggest waste of money in atlanta's franchise history... ridiculously overpaid. dak thinks he's worth 60 mil a year. these salaries are outrageous and undeserved.
The Jags had 13 losing seasons out of 14 until their last two winning seasons with Lawrence. He's not overpaid. Losing him would set the franchise back. There's hope, at least for their fans. Only ungrateful fans like Cleveland would toss away a QB after being resurrected from 12 straight losing seasons.
Baker will be great and just like the goat, he takes less than he could and leaves a good amount of cap space for the team. He wants to have a shot at the SB. Maybe not this year, but in the future.
Great Show Pat! It's Like You and Baker are From The Same Mold, Endless Enthusiasm! You Both Draw The Team Together and Light The Fire! Fantastic Team Coverage and Knowledge. Love Your Show!
this lisping host is so annoying... omg... he has to spit all over his guest... to the point where mr. riley is trying to "jump on the rollercoaster" as its moving... lol... amateurish is the new standard...
Cleveland Browns is an example of city keeping the title; Browns moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens and when Cleveland got an expansion team they got to keep all the Browns championships and history.
Realistically this is a learning year for everyone on the team next year? Big improvement next year? Elite football team if they keep the same offensive coach
Rays come first until the season ends! Not many Rays fans were around to remember the dog days but even then Dewayne Staats and Joe Magrane were must see TV
I suspect they will keep Gregory and hopefully when he doesn’t show for TC , they fine him everyday and use the fines to recoup the $1.3 M guaranteed they were to pay him? At any rate , why would Jason sign the guy based on his past and continuing problems.
This is what makes baseball so interesting; it's so unpredictable. I think baseball more than any other sport has new stars and star falloff. In football, basically the same QB's are good every year, you can see the new rookie QB's coming and have a rough idea who's gonna be good, etc. In baseball, stars pop up out of nowhere all the time. There is almost surely a guy who is 27 and will come out of nowhere and be an all-star next year. The other side of that coin is baseball has monumental falloffs. You just don't know when a star player is going to suddenly decline and get like 1/3 of their typical production and then fade into oblivion. It's so hard to predict in baseball, this stuff happens so often it's insane. That's why when you do get perennial all stars in MLB, it's so rare and special.
It makes me laugh a lot that these two really don't get it. I will say the point about what happened in his personal life might be tied to his time in Tampa feels fair
Vote NO! nothing new for cellar dwellers.... it just isn't worth it unless the Ray's plan to have a stacked team with a massive payroll to consistently chase and win championships... I believe in our guys but the division makes it hard to keep the faith.....
It would be better off on the east side of the Bay! The largest contingent of fans are in POLK County! Nobody wants to "fight" across the bridge to watch a game!. Put it in Seffner, Riverview....
As a Pats fan, don’t be irritated. Ik I have a different perspective from Bucs fans, but he loves you guys. He was his true, unbridled self in TB. He probably said “I’m a Patriot” to appease Pats fans and Kraft. Good point about Brady seeing his time in TB as a negative because of his personal life situation and the last year, but like you said, he won a Super Bowl with you guys, which I hate btw! But given how much we all know he loves football, he’s gotta love his Bucs championship team immensely. Maybe he has conflicting feelings about his time there bc of the highs and lows he experienced there but I imagine by the time his HOF candidacy comes around in 5 years, he’ll go in both as a Pats and Bucs player if that decision is up to him (which I again absolutely loathe but the truth is the truth)
20 years vs 3 years, 6 rings vs 1 ring and you guys btchin what part of that you don't understand? Why would he said anything about Tampa in front of the whole NE? Or maybe Kraft forbid him to say anything about Tampa in a NE event?? Lol you guys just want to dip in his limelight and takes advantage of the traffic generated to promote your channel by making up "controversial" useless points. PATHETIC.
A lot has been made over how the Bucs are prioritizing character as part of the selection process when adding to their team roster. They added Antonio Brown to their Superbowl roster and while he did make a big contribution during their Superbowl run it blew up in their faces the following year. Character issues can quickly divide a locker room and I believe the sooner they release Randy the better. Never count Licht out on finding quality late season pickups.
